In the second undisclosed Putin conversation did Trump offer to lift sanctions against Russia (for invading Crimea) in exchange for a Sberbank Loan to build a Trump Tower Moscow and/or for leaving Melania alone? Trump fears Melania may run off with Putin? She was, after all, seated with Putin and laughing.
What did Trump and Putin whisper into each other’s ear for almost one hour at the Couples Only G20 Dinner? We can only speculate as there were apparently no American witnesses; no US translator; no official US record. Putin speaks and understands at least some English anyway. And, of course, for anyone who can master German grammar like Putin had to have done as a KGB agent in Germany, English is a no-brainer. Perhaps they asked Putin’s translator if stumped for words? This should make clear why translators must sign non-disclosure agreements and translators could easily know too much.

Whose dummkopf idea was it to separate couples at the G20 supper? This carries a general risk of being a diplomatic disaster. But, above all, whose idea was it to seat Melania Trump next to Vladimir Putin? Germany? Is Germany trying to cause a US-Russian war? Did they hopefully bug the whole thing for Europol and the FBI? Maybe not such a dumb idea after all? Maybe a genius idea?
Most people can imagine what happens next. Donald Trump sees Melania laughing with Putin and rushes over to intervene. One can but wonder if the same thing which made Chancellor Merkel roll her eyes earlier in the G20 made Melania Trump laugh.
Because there was no US translator-witness, we don’t know for sure what was said. But, other than create a general distraction what could Trump do when he sees Melania giggling with Putin?
Both men have long-standing, known, indirect mafia connections, but the jury appears still out over whether they have direct mafia connections, or simply turn their heads and refuse to see. Both have nuclear weapons. So, Trump can’t threaten Putin.
Furthermore, Trump apparently needs Russian government Sberbank to build a Trump Tower in Moscow.
What does Trump have that Putin doesn’t besides Melania? The ability to lift more sanctions – he already lifted some: On February 2nd, the Trump administration lifted sanctions which blocked the Russian FSB from getting the latest Information Technology (IT) products/ updates. Access to updates, etc., due to the lifting of sanctions facilitates Russian hacking of the US and Europe. Further lifting of sanctions would make Exxon and probably Tillerson happy – they can drill the Arctic with Rosneft. It would make VP Pence’s brother who is VP at Cummins happy.
There need to be more sanctions against Russia over Crimea not fewer, lest Russia roll over other parts of the former Soviet Union-Russian Empire, including Alaska, which the US purchased from Russia. Russian meddling in US affairs appears to violate this treaty, too. Unfortunately, Russiagate is apparently not just about jealousy fits and building Trump Towers. And, anyway, Helen of Troy caused a very long war.

Update Notes, March 2022: It appears clear that Trump-Russia collusion was a hoax – maybe even perpetuated by Russia itself. Early in his administration, Trump sent liquified natural gas (LNG) to Poland to make it less dependent upon Russia. The above was based on what we believed to have been known at the time. Meanwhile, even after Putin invaded Crimea, the Biden administration is waiting one month before sanctioning Sberbank. Previously, Biden Sec of State Blinken waived Nord Stream 2 sanctions, which allowed it to be finished. Many of our posts need amending regarding Trump, but we simply lack the time.
