Did Russian Election Tampering Result in Trump Win? Putin Knows But The US Public Doesn’t Know

I. On February 2nd, the Trump administration lifted sanctions which blocked the Russian FSB from getting the latest Information Technology (IT) products/ updates. Access to updates, etc., due to the lifting of sanctions facilitates Russian hacking of the US and Europe. The Trump administration seems to be effectively inviting Russia’s security services (FSB) to do more hacking.

II. Trump and US House Republicans are trying to ax the agency charged with safeguarding elections by 2018. Are US House Republicans fearful that they cannot maintain control of the US Congress without cheating or getting Russia to cheat for them? Why else this shocking party line vote? Read the details here: https://miningawareness.wordpress.com/2017/07/01/trump-us-house-republicans-want-to-ax-agency-charged-with-safeguarding-elections-by-2018-quigley-proposes-amendment-to-fund-protections/

III. The Trump election commission, chaired by VP Pence, apparently wants to centralize voter information, which not only would facilitate Russian or other election tampering, but the White House can simply leak it to Russia or other countries, as well as potentially using it in other nefarious ways.

According to the Mississippi Sec. of State, the Trump Election Commission, chaired by VP Pence, is requesting the following “if publicly available under the laws of the state, the full first and last names of all registrants, middle names or initials if available, addresses, dates of birth, political party (if recorded in your state), last four digits of social security number if available, voter history (elections voted in) from 2006 onward, active/inactive status, cancelled status, information regarding any felony convictions, information regarding voter registration in another state, information regarding military status, and overseas citizen information.” Secretary Hosemann, a Republican, notes that “Our Office has not received any correspondence from the Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity. A copy of such correspondence to another Secretary of State has been forwarded to us… In the event I were to receive correspondence from the Commission requesting [the above] My reply would be: They can go jump in the Gulf of Mexico and Mississippi is a great State to launch from.” (See Press Release further below.)

Letter to Maine Secretary of State Dunlap from Kris Kobach of Vice-chair of the Trump Election Commission says: “in order for the Commission to fully analyze vulnerabilities and issues related to voter registration and voting, I am requesting that you provide to the Commission the publicly-available voter roll data for Maine, including, if publicly available under the laws of your state, the full first and last names of all registrants, middle names or initials if available, addresses, dates of birth, political party (if recorded in your state), last four digits of social security numberhttp://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2017/images/06/30/peic.letter.to.maine%5B2%5D.pdf

I. Lifting of Sanctions Against the FSB

On February 2nd, the Trump administration lifted sanctions which blocked the Russian FSB from getting the latest Information Technology (IT) products/ updates Access to updates, etc., due to the lifting of sanctions facilitates Russian hacking of the US and Europe. The Trump administration seems to be effectively inviting Russia’s security services (FSB) to do more hacking.

According to UK Business Insider “Mike Flynn was paid by Russia’s top cybersecurity firm while he still had top-secret-level security clearance“, by Natasha Bertrand, Mar. 16, 2017, 5:38 PM, “Flynn was paid for his work with both companies while he still had top-secret-level security clearance, a year after he was fired as head of the Defense Intelligence Agency, The Wall Street Journal’s Shane Harris reported.”

The above was confirmed by US Congressman Cummings:

The documents reveal that Flynn also received $11,250 from a Russian charter cargo airline and $11,250 from a top Russia-based cybersecurity corporation.” (US Congressman Cummings)

US House Oversight Documents Confirming That Flynn Received Funds From Instrument of Russian Government; Russia Cybersecurity Group, and Russian Airline

According to Bloomberg, the day after Trump was elected, “the FSB, Russia’s main intelligence agency, targeted the personal emails of hundreds of people, including national security experts, military officers and former White House officials, according to data provided by cyber security researchers who are tracking the spying and who asked not to be identified because of the risks of retaliation.” https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-03-06/russian-hackers-said-to-seek-hush-money-from-liberal-u-s-groups

In early February, when Michael Flynn was still Trump National Security Advisor the US Eased Sanctions on the FSB. As excerpted from RFERL.org:
U.S. Treasury Eases License Sanctions On Russia’s FSB
February 02, 2017 Mike Eckel, Carl Schreck
WASHINGTON — … The directive, issued on February 2 by the department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control, comes as the agency, the Federal Security Service (FSB), is under close scrutiny for its alleged interference in last year’s U.S. presidential election. . . . .

U.S. intelligence agencies concluded in a report last month that Moscow sought to influence the election won by Republican Donald Trump by breaching computer servers and political-party e-mail accounts, as well as through propaganda. ( http://www.rferl.org/a/28217875.html )

Eight days prior to the report’s release, then-President Barack Obama announced new sanctions against the agency, along with Russia’s military intelligence agency (GRU) and several related entities, in retaliation for the alleged hacking. ( http://www.rferl.org/a/us-russia-new-sanctions-over-hacking/28204378.html )
. . . .
Still, the decision comes at a time of heightened scrutiny about the FSB, the GRU, and other Russian security agencies and their purported activities in the United States.

The new administration also faces persistent concerns over Trump’s past statements that he wants to improve relations with Moscow that were badly strained over the conflicts in Ukraine and Syria.
. . . .
In Moscow, there was no immediate official response to the announcement, but Nikolai Kovalyov, a lawmaker and former FSB director, said it was an indication that the Trump administration wanted to work more closely with Russia on fighting terrorism and other matters.

III. Attempt to Centralize Voter Information

Press Release From the Office of the (Republican) Mississippi Secretary of State Delbert Hosemann:
June 30, 2017 SECRETARY HOSEMANN’S STATEMENT ON REQUEST FOR VOTER ROLL INFORMATION
“Our Office has not received any correspondence from the Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity. A copy of such correspondence to another Secretary of State has been forwarded to us. As all of you may remember, I fought in federal court to protect Mississippi voters’ rights for their privacy and won. (See True the Vote v. Hosemann, 43 F.Supp.3d 693 (S.D. Miss. 2014))

In the event I were to receive correspondence from the Commission requesting the following,
‘if publicly available under the laws of the state, the full first and last names of all registrants, middle names or initials if available, addresses, dates of birth, political party (if recorded in your state), last four digits of social security number if available, voter history (elections voted in) from 2006 onward, active/inactive status, cancelled status, information regarding any felony convictions, information regarding voter registration in another state, information regarding military status, and overseas citizen information,’

My reply would be: They can go jump in the Gulf of Mexico and Mississippi is a great State to launch from.

Mississippi residents should celebrate Independence Day and our State’s right to protect the privacy of our citizens by conducting our own electoral processes.” ### The Mississippi Secretary of State’s Office Elections Division administers the State Election Code and Secretary of State Delbert Hosemann serves as the State’s Chief Elections Officer.” Emphasis our own. Yes, Hosemann’s been quoted 3 times…would that all stand up to Trump the same! Revolt in the Republican ranks?

The Chairman of Trump’s voter commission is VP Mike Pence. One of the most notorious members appointed by Trump is a Russian-American named Hans Von Spakovsky. Coincidence? While in an article [1] Von Spakovsky portrays his father as a White Russian who fled Soviet Russia and communist Yugoslavia and his mother fleeing Breslau, Germany (Poland), ahead of Soviet troops we have no way to know for certain if these stories are true or fabricated. Given the time period they could also have been Soviet Agents and/or Nazi sympathizers. In many ways it was easier in the past to forge documents than today. Additionally, former KGB officer Putin has morphed into a fake White Russian. Not all have fallen for this, but Von Spakovsky could have. Furthermore, the Kushner family also suffered at the hands of Russia and the Nazis. Though not discussed in this Guardian article [2], the actual interview with Jared and Josh Kushner’s famous grandmother Rae describes the Soviets seizing assets of those considered well-off in Poland and deporting them to Russia. Though his grandmother was hidden this theft of assets appears to have left them without financial means which might have helped their escape. Nonetheless, the younger Kushners Jared and Josh apparently don’t mind hanging out with Russians: https://miningawareness.wordpress.com/2017/05/26/russia-veb-bank-in-nyc-served-as-cover-for-spy-for-spy-recruiting-trump-advisor-kushner-met-with-veb-head-in-decemberJared Kushner’s brother Joshua goes on Manhattan sushi date with Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich’s wife Dasha Zhukova then covers his face with his hood as he tries to sneak out” By Chris Spargo For Dailymail. com, 14 March 2017. It is worth noting that Jared and Ivanka are members of the Chabad Lubavitch sect to which Roman Abramovich is a donor.

Feinstein Statement on Request for Voter Information
Jun 30 2017 Washington—Senate Judiciary Committee Ranking Member Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) today released the following statement in response to the request for state voter information by President Trump’s Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity:

“I’m alarmed that the president’s so-called voter-fraud commission has requested personal data and voting history from all American voters—with absolutely no legal basis for doing so. The breadth of this request and complete lack of information about what the commission intends to do with the data is troubling.

“The individuals selected by President Trump to serve on this commission have troubling backgrounds that display a hostility toward protecting the voting rights of all Americans, which makes this request all the more concerning.

“Secretary of State Alex Padilla made the right call in refusing to turn over California’s voter registration data.

“Yesterday, I joined Senator Klobuchar in requesting information regarding how this commission will comply with federal transparency laws. We have very little information about how this commission will conduct its business and no assurances that it will do so fairly and openly.

“According to the Brennan Center, more people are hit by lightning than commit in-person voter fraud. This commission is set up for the sole purpose of furthering the president’s lies about voter fraud and making it harder for Americans to exercise their right to vote.https://www.feinstein.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/press-releases?id=BB4E3C0F-8EE7-439C-8E28-EFDB1CA8C7C4

07.02.17 Durbin Calls On Illinois To Refuse Request To Release Illinois Voter Files To Trump Commission On Voter Fraud SPRINGFIELD – U.S. Senate Democratic Whip Dick Durbin (D-IL) today called on the Illinois Board of Elections to utilize every legal authority to protect sensitive voter information being requested by the Presidential Commission on Voter Integrity. Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, who serves as the vice chair of the commission, wrote on Wednesday to all 50 states and the District of Columbia requesting that all publicly available voter roll data be sent to the White House.

“This Commission is a half-baked exercise setting out to prove President Trump actually won the popular vote, which under the clear language of the Constitution is irrelevant.  The Vice-chair of the effort, Kris Kobach, is well-known in Washington for hair-on-fire conspiracy theories imagining massive voter fraud which somehow escapes the attention of thousands of appointed and elected officials from both parties who supervise our elections,” said Durbin. “It is understandable that election officials of both parties nationwide are telling Mr. Kobach and his Commission to stick his request where the sun never shines. Illinois should do no less.”

Durbin continued, “I believe that the American people deserve an independent, non-partisan investigation into the 2016 presidential election—one that scrutinizes President Trump’s unfounded accusations of widespread voter fraud, Republican efforts to suppress turnout with burdensome voting restrictions, and Russia’s interference in our election and reports of contact between the Trump campaign and the Russian government.”

According to Illinois State Board of Elections spokesman Ken Menzel, as of Friday, the office had not yet received the letter. Once it’s received, Mr. Menzel said they will review the request and decide how to proceed. The information requested by the commission includes the names, addresses, birthdates, political party, last four digits of the voter’s Social Security Number, and which elections the voter has participated in since 2006 for every registered voter in the country. Mr. Kobach did not say how the commission specifically plans to use the data.

In May, Durbin reiterated his calls for an independent, non-partisan investigation into the 2016 election after President Trump signed an executive order launching a commission to review “voter integrity” in the U.S. election system.https://www.durbin.senate.gov/newsroom/press-releases/durbin-calls-on-illinois-to-refuse-request-to-release-illinois-voter-files-to-trump-commission-on-voter-fraud

[2] https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2017/jan/31/jared-kushner-grandmother-refugee-holocaust Note that in the interview she displays frustration that Poles wouldn’t take them in unless they paid for food, unfairly since the poor Poles surely lacked food and money during the invasion-war, as well as fearing for their lives. This is based on our recollection of the interview and we recommend that you listen yourself and draw your own conclusions. Some recognized as Righteous Among Nations accepted money for food. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Righteous_Among_the_Nations One must wonder, as well, if the Kushners helped their poor neighbors before the Soviets stole their assets? Or were they selfish like Jared?

Hans Von Spakovsky:
In 2005, he led the Department’s approval of a controversial Georgia law requiring voters to produce photo ID,[11] despite strong objections from Justice Department staff that the law would disproportionately harm and disenfranchise African-American voters.[9] Von Spakovksy subsequently acknowledged that he had written a law review article supporting such photo ID laws under the pseudonym “Publius”, prompting concerns that he should have recused himself from the Justice Department decision.[12] The Georgia law was subsequently overturned by a federal judge, who compared it to a “Jim-Crow era poll tax”.[12] During von Spakovsky’s tenure, more than half of the career Justice Department staff left the voting section in protest.[13] Von Spakovsky argued against the re-authorization of the Voting Rights Act in 2006, but the re-authorization overwhelmingly passed Congress and was signed into law by the Bush Administration.[10]https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hans_von_Spakovsky Photo IDs were considered sign of a dictatorship until recently in the USA. They are supposed to check your name off a list when you vote.

STEVEN WAYNE FISH, et al., Plaintiffs, v. Case No. 16-2105-JAR KRIS KOBACH, in his official capacity as Secretary of State for the State of Kansas, Defendant

p. 10, “To deter defense counsel and other members of the bar from deliberately attempting to mislead the court in the future, and to somewhat compensate the court for the “costs imposed on the judicial system” through the undersigned’s time spent discovering defendant’s misrepresentations and bringing the same to light, the court fines defendant $1,000, to be payable to the court. Defense counsel shall submit the fine by July 21, 2017. On a final note, the undersigned reiterates the sentiment expressed in his April 17, 2017 order. Although conduct resulting in the imposition of sanctions typically has a negative, but short-term, financial impact on counsel or his client, it usually has a much more sustained impact on the reputation of counsel—both among judicial officers and the practicing bar. The court urges defense counsel to garner good reputations for themselves by taking care in the future to act honestly and graciously towards the court and opposing counsel“. http://www.politico.com/f/?id=0000015c-d697-d0dd-ad5e-f69fb4f40000
