It’s insane that Russia and Turkey met in Sochi to settle terms for the future of this formally autonomous region of Syria! Just like the Age of Imperialism. No wonder the Syrian Democratic Forces expressed “reservations about some terms of the agreement which require discussions and dialogues in order to bring the views closer” They were apparently excluded from their own future!

Russian Defense Minister, Sergey Shoygu, and Russian Army Chief of Staff, Valery Gerasimov, made a televised call with The Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces, General Mazlum Abdi, in which they discussed the outcome of Sochi Agreement that was held in Sochi resort between Russian President (Vladimir Putin) and Turkish President (Recep Tayip Erdogan), on 22th of this month.

The Commander-in-Chief of SDF thanked President Vladimir Putin and the Russian Federation for their work to defuse the war in our regions and spare civilians from its scourge.


The Commander-in-Chief also expressed reservations about some terms of the agreement which require discussions and dialogues in order to bring the views closer.
