A Trump connected casino designer named Friedmutter, who lives in Nevada, and a Canadian born Asian-Indian named Chawla, who is building Trump branded hotels in the Mississippi Delta, are among Roger Wicker’s largest donors. Big givers? Well, not really. Just big by Mississippi campaign standards, where people are poor and those who sell out apparently do it on the cheap. Unless, of course, more money is flowing under the table.

The Canadian-born Asian-Indian developer, Suresh Chawla, who is building/has recently built (new) Trump branded hotels in the Mississippi Delta (Cleveland) gave Wicker $15,000. Friedmutter gave at least $20,000 to Roger Wicker’s Senate Campaign: http://docquery.fec.gov/cgi-bin/fecimg/?201810129124498139 And, Friedmutter gave $100,000 for Trump’s Inaugural committee, and $50,000 for “Trump Victory” in 2017. Friedmutter designed Trump’s casinos back in the day, and worked for the company which designed Trump Tower (constructed ca 1979). Friedmutter worked as project manager from 1978-1981 for the group which designed Trump Tower. Thus, it sounds like he was probably involved.

What’s especially weird about the Friedmutter donation is that Roger Wicker opposed a satellite casino for Mississippi’s own Choctaw, and yet he is taking money from a casino designer from Nevada, who is going to design a casino in Mississippi for Connecticut American Indians!

The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation, owner of Foxwoods Resort Casino wants to have a Foxwoods Resort Casino at Biloxi Pointe. This will be the tribe’s first out of state casino.
