Ukraine restores control over Kherson, the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine enter the city. The retreat routes of the Russian occupiers are under fire control of the Ukrainian army.

“Russian service members! As expected, after the retreat of the main group of Russian army troops from Ukraine’s Kherson, your command abandoned you to your fate. Your commanders urge you to change into civilian clothes and try to escape from Kherson on your own. Obviously, you will not succeed,” the statement reads.

The Main Directorate of Intelligence emphasizes that Ukraine is taking control of Kherson as the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are entering the city.

“The retreat routes of the Russian occupiers are under the fire control of the Ukrainian army. Any attempts to oppose the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be stopped. Every Russian service member who resists will be eliminated. You have the only chance to avoid death: to surrender immediately,” the Main Directorate of Intelligence stressed.

In case of voluntary surrender, Ukraine guarantees Russian service members life and safety.

If you are unable to contact the I Want to Live project, follow the steps below:
▪️ unfasten the magazine and hang the weapon on your left shoulder with the barrel down, raise your hands with a white flag (any white fabric will do), shout “I surrender!”, approach the Ukrainian military on command and follow all their requirements.

How to surrender as part of a group or unit:
▪️Lay down all your weapons and move away, stand in front of your military equipment (before that, turn it off – it should not be in a combat position), send a negotiator (an officer or the most senior in rank) – he must be unarmed and have a white flag.

If you are a citizen of Ukraine from the occupied territories and you were forcibly “conscripted” and forced to fight on the side of the Russian Federation, inform the Ukrainian military about this.

During the interrogation, you will have to provide the Ukrainian military with your data: last name, first name, patronymic, rank, date of birth, personal number and other relevant information.

Ваши командиры призывают вас переодеваться в гражданскую одежду и пытаться самостоятельно бежать из Херсона. Очевидно, это вам не удастся.
Херсон возвращается под контроль Украины. Пути отступления российских оккупантов – под огневым контролем украинской армии. Любые попытки противодействовать Вооруженным силам Украины будут пресечены. Каждый российский военнослужащий, который окажет сопротивление, будет уничтожен.

Если вы не имеете возможности связаться с проектом «Хочу жить», выполняйте действия по следующему алгоритму:
