UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres is shocked by Russia’s missile strikes that hit Kyiv during his visit to the city.

That’s according to BBC journalist Ben Brown, Ukrinform reports.
“UN Secretary General tells me he’s shocked by Russia carrying out a missile attack on Kyiv while he’s on the city for talks with President Zelensky. Ukraine calls it a ‘heinous act of barbarism’ – and a ‘postcard from Moscow,’” Brown tweeted.

EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell considers yesterday’s Russian missile strike on the Ukrainian capital during the visits made by UN Secretary-General Guterres and Bulgarian PM Petkov a blatant disregard for international law.

With the missile strike on Kyiv during the visit of UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres and Prime Minister of Bulgaria Kirill Petkov, Russia has once again demonstrated its attitude to Europe and the whole world.

That’s according to Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, who addressed the issue on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.

“Russia stroke Kyiv with cruise missiles right when UN Secretary General @antonioguterres and Bulgarian PM @KirilPetkov visit our capital. By this heinous act of barbarism Russia demonstrates once again its attitude towards Ukraine, Europe and the world,” the head of Ukrainian diplomacy tweeted.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, on Thursday Russian troops attacked the Ukrainian capital with missiles. As a result of the strikes, a 25-storey residential building was partially destroyed and 10 people were injured, according to preliminary reports.
