This is absolutely hard-core: The Communist Party, USA. These are now Chinese Communist Party (CCP) connected Stalinists, as evidenced by their Tweets. The existence of open Stalinists in the USA, even during the Cold War, has always been mind-blowing. An ostensible US Senator openly asking for their support is astounding, though the communist connections of most of the 2020 Dem candidates for President was very shocking, too.

The CPUSA retweets Chinese Communist Party officials and promotes Stalin, as well. For instance, on December 17th, “Communist Party USA Retweeted
Hu Zhaoming 中联部发言人胡兆明 @SpokespersonHZM Dec 17
China government official The International Department of the CPC Central Committee (IDCPC) held the Meeting between the CPC and Marxist Political Parties from Europe, North America and Oceania on Dec. 15
.” On December 16th, they tweeted about a Stalin book club meeting: https://archive.vn/Bh6oJ

So, Senator Blumenthal, an ostensible US Senator, asks the audience at an awards ceremony celebrating the 102 anniversary of the founding of the CP USA to support Dem candidates. He also alludes to their support of many many years and thanks them for that.

While they denied it at the time, it is now known that the CP USA got funding from the USSR.

And, even during the Cold War, the CP USA worked openly within the Dem. Party – unlike the Maoists who apparently worked more in undercover cells.

The CP USA did run their own candidates in some states. CIA officer and former head of the CIA, John Brennan, voted for the Communist Party’s Gus Hall for President. While he pretends that this was a protest vote, there were other, better known, candidates for whom he could have voted, such as Eugene McCarthy.

The CP USA almost certainly now gets funding from the Chinese Communist Party, as most of those previously funded by the USSR appear to have shifted their allegiance to China. That is an observation largely based upon both things that they support-write, and common sense. There was a mystifying major shift to identity politics away from a more trade-union/economics oriented leftism within academia, especially after the fall of the USSR. The shift from the economics oriented old left to the identity politics oriented new left appears to reflect Maoist-Gramscist influences.

Of course, maybe Blumenthal funds them, too. His voice is so annoying that he needs to be paying people to suffer through listening to him. Instead, the US taxpayer is paying him almost $200,000 per year.

There’s not fascism vs communism, as many of us have been taught, and which are historically recent constructs, anyway. This is about totalitarianism, in conjunction with monopoly capital vs democracy and free enterprise. Centralization facilitates totalitarianism and characterizes both Communism and Fascism. Both communism and fascism have involved strange mixes of state capitalism and private monopoly capitalism, which don’t always fit into neat boxes. It should be obvious to all, as well, that identity politics is ideological fascism (related to Nazi ideology). Monopoly capital and centralized governments are more efficient but they make dictatorship easier.

Blumenthal is one of the richest members of the US Congress. How does the equity (equality of outcomes) that he calls for work in that context? Is he going to share his wealth? Or, maybe he thinks that everyone else has plenty of money to give to the government, too? However, he probably wants everyone else to give their money, but thinks that he doesn’t have to. One Berniecrat Californian angrily wrote that the US government capping the state and local tax (SALT) deduction was an unfair tax. On the contrary, the state and local tax deduction shifts the tax burden onto states that don’t give free healthcare to illegals, etc., and all of the other “perks” Californians get for their taxes. It’s become obvious that most Americans are too poor to be Dems. And, Bernie Sanders was affiliated with the Socialist Workers Party, at a time when they were apparently transitioning from Trotskyism to being pro-Soviet by promoting Castro’s Cuba. Bernie went to the USSR for his honeymoon, etc.

Hayek challenged the view, popular among British Marxists, that fascism (including Nazism) was a capitalist reaction against socialism. He argued that fascism, Nazism and socialism had common roots in central economic planning and empowering the state over the individual”. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Road_to_Serfdom

State Senator Kushner, U.S. Senator Blumenthal highlight Connecticut Communist Party’s Amistad Awards
By Marc E. Fitch December 13, 2021, Yankee Institute
The Connecticut People’s World Committee presented its annual Amistad Awards on Saturday to mark the 102nd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party USA, with awards being presented to Sen. Julie Kushner, D-Danbury, Pastor Rodney Wade of Waterbury and SEIU activist Azucena Santiago.

Sen. Richard Blumenthal, D-CT, joined the program as a surprise guest to offer his congratulations and present the award winners with certificates of special recognition from the United States Senate. “I am really excited and honored to be with you today and share in this remarkable occasion,” Blumenthal said…

Blumenthal also used his time to pitch support for the Build Back Better plan, voting legislation, a national $15 minimum wage, ending the filibuster and re-electing Democrats to Congress.

“There’s a lot to be working for in economic justice, in racial equity, in establishing a $15 minimum wage,” Blumenthal said, “and holding corporations accountable for the basic treatment of the American people. We need to look at our entire tax system, beginning with Build Back Better.”…

“We invite you to join the Communist Party in this epic time as we make good trouble to uproot systemic racism, retool the war economy, tax the rich, address climate change, secure voting rights and create a new socialist system that puts people, peace and planet before profits,” event emcee Ben McManus said.

The Connecticut Communist Party is headquartered in New Haven and is run by long-time chairwoman Joelle Fishman, who also serves as chair of the CPUSA Political Action Commission, according to People’s World…” Read the entire article here: https://archive.ph/yA2Qp

Independent of Antony Sutton’s work, we have noticed the big role that US corporations played in building up the USSR, which is exactly what Sutton discusses. It’s probably how we found Sutton in the first place. Again and again we come back to his work as the most plausible explanation for things past, and especially things present. At around 24 minutes he transitions to a discussion of how big business built up National Socialists in Germany (Hitler), after discussing the lesser known fact of how they built up the USSR (Union of Soviet Socialist Republics).
