According to PolitiFact, Facebook flagged (and apparently deleted) a January 6th 2020 Facebook post which said that “Saudi terrorists has killed more Americans on our soil than any other nation. They rent the entire 45th floor of Trump Tower, And pay him in cash.” https://archive.li/p3GUf Politifact calls this mostly false, but it’s actually mostly true and, perhaps, entirely true. More importantly, it points to a larger truth, and for that reason should not have been deleted.

Politifact appears to be nit-picking over details of how the Facebook post was written. They even made a mistake in their own title, because it is Trump World Tower rather than Trump Tower. While Saudi Arabia bought the entire 45th floor, tenants have to buy an amenities fee which is a form of rent. When the Saudis bought it in 2001, this charge was already $85,585 per year. The post said that they pay cash, and – who knows- they may. Plus, Trump World Towers has lots of empty units, though fewer than they had in 2013. We also don’t know if they paid for it, or are still buying it. Even if they had sold it, there is a connection there. Plus, Osama Bin Laden’s brother lived in Trump Tower at one point.

Osama Bin Laden’s half brother, Shafiq Bin Laden, lived in Trump Tower in 1986. Trump sold the 45th floor of Trump World Tower to Saudi Arabia, in the months before 911. This included an annual charge of $85,585 for “amenities”. It was sold to Saudi Arabia at the time that the CIA started receiving a “barrage of intelligence” pointing to “imminent attacks against unspecified US interests“. Trump has done business with rich Saudis for at least 35 years. Isn’t it past time that we start asking who Donald J. Trump really is?

In 1985 Osama Bin Laden’s (supposedly westernized) half brother, Shafique, put a deposit on an apartment in Trump Tower and lived there for four months in 1986.[1] He was a guest of honor at the Carlye Group’s DC Conference on 911 (Sept. 11, 2001). He met with Bush, Sr., and James Baker there. He was also one of the Bin Laden family members who left the US on September 19, 2001, aboard a plane often chartered by President Bush for the Press Corps. [2]

While this may be true, Trump’s relationship with the Saudis, and the Bin Ladens, in this period, should be examined.

The Saudi government has continued to back Islamic extremists, as well as making people more open to extremism through their policies.

Saudi Arabia has continued to support Islamic extremism (al-Qaeda affiliates) as well as contributing to the creation of more desperate people through war, who may be more open to extremism.

Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman was already Saudi Minister of Defense when Saudi Arabia supported the formation of “The Army of Conquest” in Syria which was primarily composed of al-Qaeda affiliate the al-Nusra Front, as well as Ahrar al-Sham, with a similar ideology. In Yemen he began an air war against the Houthis and Yemen’s army which benefited al-Qaeda in the Arabian peninsula. This is based on a German Intel memo.
