It appears that the US Senate is out of session and the Senators are in their districts now. However, there will be pro-forma sessions. Reportedly nothing can be done during these sessions, but it’s best to keep an eye open. Be sure to call your Senators’ offices, if you haven’t.

Contact your Senators to Oppose Senate Bills S386, S2091, S328, S1744 and any similar bills. Make sure they mark down the numbers, along with your opposition. Contact the Immigration Subcommittee chairs and ask for a fair hearing and debate. The House sneaked its version (HR1044) through in 3 days with virtually no debate: https://www.senate.gov/senators/How_to_correspond_senators.htm

After calling your Senators, spread the word to your family and friends; tweet, and write! But, first call your two Senators, and the subcommittee chairs!

Rep. Paul Gosar, DDS @RepGosar
Last night the House passed a Green Card Giveaway gift wrapped for ‪#BigTech‬ at the expense of American workers. We should be putting American workers first, not consolidating green cards to two countries.” 1:41 PM · Jul 11, 2019

Note that this isn’t only about tech workers. It has impacted all sorts of jobs for decades.

SENATE BILL 386 LIFTS COUNTRY CAPS ON GREEN CARDS; DOUBLES COUNTRY CAP FOR FAMILY JOINING The bill S386 is even worse than we realized. Not only does it eliminate Green Card Country Caps, which means most immigration will be from the countries with the most people, especially India, which has over 17% of the world population and the biggest backlog. It actually increases family joining green card caps per country from 7% to 15%, as well. Don’t think for a second that Trump will veto it. The Republican Hindu coalition head was a big supporter of Trump.

SENATE BILL 2091 LIFTS COUNTRY CAPS, INCREASES GREEN CARD RECIPIENTS BY THE MILLIONS INCLUDING A DACA LIKE POLICY OF GREEN CARDS FOR KIDS OF TEMPORARY WORKERS IN THE UNITED STATES
Rand Paul’s S2091 is even worse! It lifts country caps, increases employment based green cards from 140,000 per year to 270,000. However, with green cards for spouses and kids this will be an additional over 1 million new permanent residents (soon citizens) per year. Since that’s not bad enough, he wants the kids of temporary workers to get green cards, which means we are looking at millions. We would have to find estimates of temp workers per year to guess how many millions this would be. And, it’s retroactive. https://www.congress.gov/bill/116th-congress/senate-bill/2091/text

How many people live in your town or city? Already the US has been creating around a million new citizens per year, and not all people with green cards (legal permanent residents) are citizens.

Already, in 2017, 42.8 million US residents, i.e. 12.5% US residents, were post 1990 immigrants or their offspring! S386 will make these figures less diverse. S2091 will make them skyrocket so that native born Americans will soon be a minority. Policies matter. https://www.numbersusa.com/news/cis-study-immigration-has-added-43-million-us-1990

Homeland Security opposes this Bill S. 386, according to several news reports, though we never found the original, it was found in articles supporting the bill, among others: “The Department of Homeland Security does not support S. 386. The bill would do nothing to move the current employer-sponsored system toward a more merit-based system. The adverse effect on immigrant visa wait times for nationals of countries currently with lesser demand would be an obstacle to any potential plan to promote or increase immigration from countries who immigrants present reduced risk, such as Visa Waiver Program countries, or any other class of countries which the Administration may desire to provide preferential treatment (e.g., countries with which the U.S. has negotiated favorable trade deals). Joseph Joh, Assistant Director and Senior Adviser for the Office of Legislative Affairs at DHS.

Don’t be fooled! Trump won’t veto any of these bills. This is the type of immigration he wants: so-called skilled and legal immigration. And, he has Asian-Indian friends and business partners. Asian-Indians in the United States have money. They have the highest per capita income of any ethnic group in the United States. Trump only cares about those with money: “5 Disturbing Highlights From A Rally For Hindu Supporters Of Trumphttps://www.huffpost.com/entry/5-disturbing-highlights-from-a-rally-for-hindu-supporters-of-trump_n_58051126e4b0162c043d64db

WE PREDICT THAT UNLESS PEOPLE START PROTESTING MORE WIDELY THAT WE WILL GET A MIX OF THE WORST OF ALL OF THESE BILLS.

No to removing per country green card caps; No to increasing per country family joining green card caps; No to increasing green card numbers, whether by tens of thousands or millions.

No more growth machine, pyramid scheme immigration policies!

Bipartisan Sellout of the USA: House Passed Bill to Turn US into Colony of India by Ending Green Card Country Cap, Thus Favoring Green Cards For India; Call US Senate To Oppose Senate Bill 386 https://miningawareness.wordpress.com/2019/07/21/bipartisan-sellout-of-the-usa-house-voted-bill-to-turn-us-into-colony-of-india-by-ending-immigration-per-country-cap-favoring-green-cards-for-india-call-us-senate-to-oppose-senate-bill-386/

The chart, below, shows numbers currently becoming US citizens. It shows that what the so-called Department of Homeland Security calls a flow is a flood without precedent historically; it is environmentally unsustainable and unfair to Americans. Over 1 million people per year is the equivalent of one large city per year. There is no equivalent chart for green cards, but citizenship is generally the next step. The green card statistics are here: https://miningawareness.wordpress.com/2017/04/19/trump-wants-study-of-how-to-give-best-jobs-to-immigrants-using-h1b-o-visas-exist-for-the-talented-h1b-is-an-unneeded-backdoor-to-green-cards-citizenship-and-to-lower-american-wages/
