U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, April 5, 2012: San Diego tunnel to smuggle drugs discovered on US-Mexico border

Tunnel experts building part of Trump’s wall with Mexico? Just wondering if it will come with a built-in smuggling tunnel? In these strange times, anything seems possible. Tunnel experts are a strange choice for a border wall.

Walls and fences are made to be crawled over or dug under. Some of the tunnels are very deep and very professional. Heat sensors and cameras along the border make more sense.

Border Tunnels: US Senator Feinstein Was Working To Stop The Construction Of Tunnels Used To Transport Drugs Across The U.S.–Mexico Border Well Before Trump’s Presidency

Even as would-be immigrants were recently filmed climbing over the existing wall, and tunnel under the existing walls, Trump continues to petulantly bleat about the wall. The question remains why. Contractors, subcontractors-suppliers of materials, perhaps? Barnard Construction is to “construct up to 32 miles of Primary Pedestrian Replacement Wall in Arizona, within the U.S. Border Patrol’s Yuma and Tucson sectors.”

Who is Barnard Construction? It is private, so we don’t really know. We probably can’t know the subcontractors or suppliers then, either. Barnard is located in Bozeman Montana. Their construction areas are listed as dams and reservoirs, tunnels, water and sewers, oil and gas pipelines, power transmissions, hydro, environmental, marine/in-water. Where there is construction, there is traditionally mafia. This could be at the level of the subcontractor(s), however. We find no large financial donations/financial ties to Trump, but they may still be there, hidden because the company is private, or in the subcontracts.

According to Bloomberg, Timothy Barnard attended Villanova University, Gonzaga University in Florence, Italy, and Sophia University in Tokyo, Japan. Timothy Barnard is connected to the National Italian American Foundation, through Angelo Robert Mozilo, who serves on the Gonzaga University Board with him. https://www.bloomberg.com/research/stocks/private/person.asp?personId=4279226&privcapId=4271134 Gonzaga is a Jesuit Catholic University, located in Washington State. The attendance in Florence seems to have been a study abroad program.

After 5 minutes of watching a generic documentary on Trump, Trump’s mob connections were clear, simply because the construction industry in New York was infiltrated by the mob, and probably still is. The most vicious is the Russian mafia. For Trump, one need only start with the hypothesis and investigative journalists have fleshed out the facts. Not so with the wall contractors, Barnard Construction, and Sullivan Bros, where there is virtually nothing written.

It is possible that the wall contractors are unwittingly being used by mafia interests. And, maybe they are just lucky. The problem is that we don’t know. Any company getting US government contracts should be required to put all company information into the public sphere. Far more alarming: we don’t even know who is really behind nuclear waste contractors Holtec, nor Energy Solutions, because they are private. And, yet they handle nuclear waste.
