The conflict in Ukraine is a stark reminder that there is no substitute for credible Defence.  We are all shocked by the images of war in our Continent and the effects of air delivered weapons.  For air forces, the fighting in Ukraine has clearly demonstrated that despite the technological complexity of modern aerial warfare, having highly motivated and well-trained people remains critical to operational success.   The conflict has also highlighted the importance of alliances.” Excerpt from “A speech by HRH The Prince of Wales at RAF Cranwell College Combined Parade” 29 APRIL 2022 https://www.princeofwales.gov.uk/speech/speech-hrh-prince-wales-raf-cranwell-college-combined-parade

The Sovereign’s prerogative powers are sometimes called reserve powers. They include the sole authority to dismiss a prime minister and government of the day in extremely rare and exceptional circumstances, and other essential powers (such as withholding Royal Assent, and summoning and proroguing Parliament) to preserve the stability of the nation. These reserve powers can be exercised without the consent of Parliament. Reserve powers, in practice, are the court of absolute last resort in resolving situations that fundamentally threaten the security and stability of the nation as a whole and are almost never used.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prime_Minister_of_the_United_Kingdom#Constitutional_background

Why was it “ok” for people to criticize the budget of the first black Chancellor of the Exchequer, but not ok to criticize Rishi because he is brown? “After Johnson resigned in 2022, Kwarteng supported Liz Truss’s bid to become Conservative leader. Following Truss’s appointment as Prime Minister, she appointed Kwarteng as Chancellor of the Exchequer. His appointment made him the first black person to serve as Chancellor of the Exchequer.[4] On 23 September, Kwarteng announced various tax cuts in a “mini-budget” that was widely criticised and which briefly caused sterling to fall to its lowest-ever level against the US dollar. Kwarteng was dismissed as Chancellor on 14 October after 38 days, making him the second-shortest-serving post-war Chancellor.” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kwasi_Kwarteng

And, why was it “ok” for people to criticize a highly qualified female Prime Minister, Liz Truss, and never give her a fair chance? Why is it “racist” to oppose Rishi Sunak, but not sexist to oppose Liz Truss?
