Grigori Rasputin (1864-1916)

This was an apparent assassination attempt on “Putin’s Rasputin”, Alex Dugin, by car bomb. The original Rasputin was assassinated in December 1916 by conservative members of the Russian nobility, who opposed his influence over the Tsar and Tsarina. A few months later the Tsar abdicated in the February Revolution, which was followed by the October Revolution. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grigori_RasputinThe Russian Revolution was inaugurated with the February Revolution in 1917…. After major military losses during the war, the Russian Army had begun to mutiny. Army leaders and high ranking officials were convinced that if Tsar Nicholas II abdicated, the domestic unrest would subside. Nicholas agreed and stepped down, ushering in a new government led by the Russian Duma (parliament) which became the Russian Provisional Government. This government was dominated by the interests of prominent capitalists, as well as the Russian nobility and aristocracy… https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_Revolution

Dugin is frequently called “Putin’s Rasputin”. This apparent assassination/assassination attempt looks like a warning from within Russia. Dugin’s daughter was driving his vehicle. Was it a warning to Putin himself? Was it a warning by Putin to Dugin (or others)? Was it an attempted assassination of Dugin by disgruntled elements within the Russian government, such as the intelligence services-military and/or the Russian mafia, who are fed up by Dugin’s influence and by the war in Ukraine? Was it a false flag attack by Putin to increase support for attacks on Ukraine?

The war in Ukraine looks highly detrimental to the interests of Russia’s oligarchs, who are a modern day nobility. It is detrimental to the Russian population and especially for those in the Russian military, or with family in the military. From a cost-benefit analysis Russia’s war on Ukraine simply makes no sense for Russia. Only for crazed ideologues, and their followers, does the war on Ukraine make sense.

Putin’s ‘war mastermind’ Alexander Dugin in hospital after dodging bomb that killed daughter in ‘assassination attempt’ By Will Stewart, Katie Davis 9:17, 21 Aug 2022 Updated: 11:19, 21 Aug 2022 VLADIMIR Putin’s “spiritual guide” is in hospital after narrowly dodging a car bomb attack that killed in daughter. It comes as the tyrant’s cronies demand he nuke the West over the reported assassination attempt on Saturday evening: Alexander Dugin –  said to be an architect of the Ukraine war – dodged the blast after switching cars at the last moment. His daughter, propagandist Darya Dugina, died but evidence suggests Neo-Nazi mystic Dugin was the intended victim…” Read article and see images here: https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/news/9336917/putins-guide-alexander-hospital-bomb-killed-daughter/

Let’s look at the original Rasputin and his assassination:
Grigori Yefimovich Rasputin (/ræˈspjuːtɪn/; Russian: Григорий Ефимович Распутин [ɡrʲɪˈɡorʲɪj jɪˈfʲiməvʲɪtɕ rɐˈsputʲɪn]; 21 January [O.S. 9 January] 1869 – 30 December [O.S. 17 December] 1916) was a Russian mystic and self-proclaimed holy man who befriended the family of [Tsar] Nicholas II, the last Emperor of Russia, thus gaining considerable influence in late Imperial Russia… In late 1906, Rasputin began acting as a healer for the imperial couple’s only son, Alexei, who suffered from hemophilia. He was a divisive figure at court, seen by some Russians as a mystic, visionary, and prophet, and by others as a religious charlatan…. In the early morning of 30 December [O.S. 17 December] 1916, Rasputin was assassinated by a group of conservative noblemen who opposed his influence over [Tsarina] Alexandra and [Tsar] Nicholas. Historians often suggest that Rasputin’s scandalous and sinister reputation helped discredit the tsarist government and thus helped precipitate the overthrow of the Romanov dynasty a few months after he was assassinated. Accounts of his life and influence were often based on hearsay and rumor. He remains a mysterious and captivating figure in popular culture.[1]…https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grigori_Rasputin

Daughter Of Kremlin Ideologue Dugin Killed In Car Explosion
August 21, 2022, By RFE/RL’s Russian Service https://www.rferl.org/author/rfe-rls-russian-service/buv_qo The daughter of prominent Kremlin-connected nationalist ideologue Aleksandr Dugin, one of the main architects of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, was reportedly killed when the car she was traveling in exploded in the Moscow region on August 20, Russian media reported. Russia’s Investigative Committee said in a statement quoted by state news agency TASS that an explosive device was likely planted in the car belonging to 30-year-old Darya Dugina. “According to investigators, on August 20 around 21:00 in the Odintsovo urban district near the village of Bolshiye Vyazemy, an explosive device, presumably installed in the Toyota Land Cruiser [vehicle], went off on a public road and then the car caught fire. The female driver died at the scene. We established the identity of the deceased as journalist and political analyst Daria Dugina,” the department said in a message on its Telegram channel. Dugina was a political commentator for the International Eurasian Movement, which is led by her father. The organization follows the neo-Eurasian ideology…. The organization opposes Western values such as liberalism, capitalism, and modernism. Andrey Krasnov, a personal acquaintance of the Dugin family, told TASS that the car she was traveling in belonged to her father. Krasnov said he believed Dugin was the true target of the blast. Denis Pushilin, a Moscow-backed separatist leader in Ukraine’s Donetsk region, also said that Dugin was the intended target of the blast, which he blamed on Kyiv. Dugin is a far-right Russian author and ideologue who is described as being the architect or “spiritual guide” of Russia’s unprovoked invasion of Ukraine and is believed to have a strong influence over Russian President Vladimir Putin, being frequently described as “Putin’s brain.” In March, the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control sanctioned Dugina for her contribution to an article on the United World International (UWI) website suggesting that Ukraine would “perish” if it is admitted to NATO. Dugina was UWI’s chief editor. With reporting by CNN and Current Time

Dugin has been connected to former French Presidential candidate Marine Le Pen’s Rassemblement National (RN), previously the Front National. Dugin appears to be the ideologue behind Archbishop Vigano’s Moscow-centric world view; and has said that Russia should invade Europe, conquer it, and annex it. Le Pen’s party still owes millions to Russia. Their loan was transferred to a Russian military company: “Le Pen’s far-right party reaches settlement on Russian bank debt: court” By Reuters Staff, June 8, 2020 https://web.archive.org/web/20220203203757/https://www.reuters.com/article/us-russia-france-politics-idUKKBN23F1AH

Putin’s Russia wants all Christians under control. The Russian Orthodox Church functions as social control and the confessional makes priests the ultimate spies.

Russia’s prosecuted a lot of Baptist missionaries, because of their independence and love of mission work, but also Catholics, Methodists, etc.: “RUSSIA: 142 known “anti-missionary” prosecutions in 2019-20…First Catholic and Methodist prosecutions: In another potential shift, 2019 and the first half of 2020 also saw the first prosecutions known to Forum 18 of Catholics and Methodists under Article 5.26, Part 4 or 5 (Catholic and Methodist churches have already faced prosecution under Article 5.26, Part 3)” See: https://www.forum18.org/archive.php?article_id=2593

Dugin said that Russia should invade, conquer and annex Europe.

Spécial investigation” obtained a hundred or so emails of Alexander Dugin, Kremlin ideologue, proving that his most important relay in France to infiltrate the European parliament was an advisor to Marine Le Pen (2016). The video clip, below, features an April 12th, 2013 interview with Aleksandr Dugin saying that Russia should invade Europe, conquer it, and annex it. He says that their communist parties were doing a good job infiltrating the European parliament.

Dugin’s diatribe against Poland and Roman Catholicism.

One reason that Dugin, et al., hate Roman Catholicism is the role it played in liberating Poland from Communism.

Excerpts from 1998 Polish interview with Alex Dugin: “Aleksander Dugin: I am waiting for Ivan the Terrible” Interviewer: Grzegorz Górny www-fronda-pl Moscow, March 1998 The interview was published in the quarterly Fronda “no. 11-12” Posted online June 26, 2016 (transl)

“Question: Are there any elements in the Polish tradition that you find attractive?

Dugin: “I am much closer to the Slavic-Eurasian sources of Polishness, their ethnic and even pagan elements. I am attracted to certain eastern or oriental elements, minority culture. I think that the best thing in Polish history is the Jewish tradition in small towns in eastern Poland. Actually, I am interested in everything that was anti-Catholic in Poland: Polish freemasons and occultists, Jan Potocki and Hoene-Wroński, Mienżyński and Dzerzhinsky … They all chose the Eurasian path….

We Russians and Germans understand in terms of expansion and we will never reason otherwise. We are not simply interested in preserving our own state or nation. We are interested in absorbing, through the pressure we exert, the maximum number of categories that complement us. We are not interested in colonizing like the English, but in drawing our strategic geopolitical boundaries without even special Russification, although there should be some Russification. Russia, in its geopolitical and sacred-geographic development, is not interested in the existence of an independent Polish state in any form. It is also not interested in the existence of Ukraine. Not because we don’t like Poles or Ukrainians, but because these are the laws of sacred geography and geopolitics.

Poland has to choose: either a Slavic or a Catholic identity. I understand it’s hard to separate one from the other, but it’s inevitable…”

Question: “In a word, from your point of view, all anti-Catholic activities in Poland are beneficial?”

Dugin: “Exactly. You have to break Catholicism from the inside, strengthen Polish Freemasonry, support decaying secular movements, promote heterodox and anti-papal Christianity.

Catholicism cannot be absorbed into our tradition unless it is deeply reoriented in a nationalist and anti-papal direction…”

Question: “What you say reminds me of what I read recently about Russian Christianity. Some historians of religion believe that Russia was never completely Christianized, that Christianity was adopted very superficially, and pagan beliefs and customs were still alive among the majority of the common people…” https://www.fronda.pl/a/aleksander-dugin-czekam-na-iwana-groznego,45653.html https://www-fronda-pl.translate.goog/a/aleksander-dugin-czekam-na-iwana-groznego,45653.html?_x_tr_sl=auto&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=

Is Archbishop Viganò Looking East?” MARCH 21, 2022 by Michael Warren Davis https://www.crisismagazine.com/2022/is-archbishop-vigano-looking-east Note that Vigano hasn’t criticized Russia’s “abortion tainted” DNA viral vector vaccine (Sputnik V) but only the western ones. Vigano and Dugin participated in a conference together on May 30, 2021: “In diretta da Venezia- Simposio internazionale di filosofiahttps://youtu.be/BcFfHlYKkEM Vigano may be the Catholic clergyman who attended a far-right conference in Vienna, on May 31, 2014, which included Dugin and Marine Le Pen’s niece.

Excerpts from “The Crucifixion Teams of Putin’s Legions (These Six Men)”, by
Frank Cocozzelli, first published on DailyKos:
There is also Alexandr Dugin, the modern-day Rasputin to Putin, the philosopher-moralist whose grievance-laden Fourth Political Theory approaches the fanaticism of Hitler’s Mein Kampf. His hatred of Western tolerance, his claim that Russia is the guardian of Christian values, and his calls for a Eurasian ascension of world power are centered on China, India, Iran and Russia – all whose governments are led by, in varying degrees, authoritarian-minded leaders. Dugin sees the tolerance of liberal democracy as a threat to a “traditional” values-based society. The Fourth Political is replete with fascistic themes of justified conquest and religious supremacy.  It is in Dugin’s writings we find the origins of Putin’s claim that Ukraine’s government needs to be “de-nazified.”

Moving on to Rome, in the Vatican there is the former Apostolic Nuncio to the United States, Carlo Maria Viganò…. Viganò, who, at the very least, admires Putin’s authoritarian policies. Like Dugin, he peddles New World Order global conspiracy theories “against God and humanity” He too sees the Russian president as the protector of Christianity and he has blamed NATO for the invasion of Ukraine….

They share an admiration for a society in which illiberal social norms are determined by symphonia. It is an illiberal mindset, one that is not in the spirit of of religious freedom but of religious supremacy. Putin, it should be noted, has harassed the free practice of various religious groups such as certain Protestant denominations as well as Jehovah’s Witnesses and Mormons….

This Third Rome to which they aspire emulates the worst aspects of the First Rome. That empire conquered other nations and then utilized terror as a means of controlling their unwilling subjects. Today’s rising Caesar – or more appropriately, the Russian word for that title, czar – – brings to mind the historian Tacitus’s quote describing the methods of the first Rome, “To ravage, to slaughter, to usurp under false titles, they call it empire; and where they make a desert, they call it peace.“

[They] not only sacrifice democracy but bless brutality. They use their positions to act as the new crucifixion teams of the Third Rome. Their words and mendacity are the new nails, the new cross and the new spear to crucify the innocent….

Two thousand years ago a Jewish man was executed for advocating peace, tolerance and a kingdom beyond this world. Such advocacy was found to be seditious to the Caesar of the First Rome. He, like thousands of other Jews of his time, were victims of acts of terror. Within thirty-five years of his execution, his fellow countrymen were forced into a Diaspora. The First Rome brutally ravaged and destroyed the lands of Galilee and Judea: the would-be Caesar of the Third Rome similarly targets Ukraine.

[They] bear false witness by claiming that the Jewish president of Ukraine who lost family members of the Holocaust needs to be denazified. [They] admire the rising Caesar in Moscow for his antiabortion and anti-LGBTQ policies while he murders children in hospitals and other innocent civilians all for the greater glory of his empire. All of them turn a blind eye towards the assassination of political opponents while stifling basic liberties such as free speech and freedom of assembly.

As a Catholic Christian I believe that each one of us will have to appear before God’s throne and account for our transgressions. The essence of faith is how we treat each other. I tremble at the thought of that coming moment. Do these… men not have the same apprehension?

May God have mercy on their souls.“ Excerpts from “Daily Kos article… created by a Daily Kos Community member. © Kos Media, LLC … may be used… without explicit permission unless otherwise specified….https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2022/3/20/2086928/-The-Crucifixion-Teams-of-Putin-s-Legions-These-Six-Men https://archive.ph/vU3ku#

Alexander Dugin. Russia has a new Rasputin” Fascist, occultist, madman – these are just some of the words that describe Aleksander Dugin. A geopolitician would probably be one of the hundreds of thousands of harmless fantasies, were it not for the fact that his words about the Eurasian empire led by Moscow are listened to with attention in the Russian general staff and even in the Kremlin. While probably not a coincidence that this was the anniversary of Russia poisoning Navalny, a car bomb isn’t his style. It’s also the anniversary of the Soviet invasion of Czechoslovakia.

Second Anniversary of the Poisoning of Aleksey Navalny
Press Statement, by Ned Price, Dept. Spokesperson, August 20, 2022
Two years ago today, officers of the Russian government attempted to assassinate opposition leader Aleksey Navalny with a nerve agent on Russian soil.  When Mr. Navalny survived the brazen attack and bravely returned to Russia after recovering abroad, the Kremlin shamelessly imprisoned him on politically motivated charges.  We again condemn Russia’s use of a chemical weapon to poison a political opponent, and call on the Kremlin to fully declare and dismantle its chemical weapons program. We also join Navalny’s family, colleagues, and supporters around the world in calling for his immediate release.
Since launching its further invasion of Ukraine, the Kremlin has escalated its crackdown on dissent and independent media in Russia, including through broad censorship laws carrying harsh prison sentences.  It is no coincidence that the Kremlin’s aggression in Ukraine has been accompanied by intensified repression at home.  The Kremlin seeks to prevent the people of Russia from knowing about the atrocities its forces are inflicting on Ukrainian civilians, and also from learning about the needless Russian military casualties for the sake of this unjust war of choice.
We reaffirm our solidarity with Aleksey Navalny, Vladimir Kara-Murza, and other political prisoners in Russia, as well as the thousands of other courageous Russian citizens who, despite personal risk, confront the Kremlin’s lies with the truth
