Rishi Sunak is being presented as the front runner for replacing Boris Johnson as British Prime Minister. As of late 2020, Rishi Sunak’s wife, Akshata Murty, owns a 0.91% stake in Infosys, which is worth £430 million. Her father, NR Narayana Murthy, founded the company and is Chairman Emeritus. “Each year, her shares entitle her to millions in dividends. Infosys is a contractor to the UK government and publicly funded organisations.
