Putin and his Minister of Defence went to visit Modi and India’s Minister of Defence last December. This was after Russia military build-up along the border with Ukraine had started, and there were increasing concerns of Russia launching a further invasion of Ukraine, as they ultimately did.

India’s President Modi last December: “I warmly thank H.E. President Putin for his visit to India. We exchanged very useful ideas for expanding our strategic, trade & investment, energy, connectivity, defence, science & technology and cultural cooperation. We also shared views on important global and regional issues.” — Narendra Modi (@narendramodi) December 6, 2021

At the Russia and India 2 +2 summit, Putin met Modi at Hyderabad House, hours after the first India-Russia 2+2 ministerial meeting between Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar with their counterparts Defence Minister Sergey Shoigu and Foreign Minister. At the 2+2 summit, the two sides signed two contracts for manufacture of nearly 6 lakh AK-203 rifles under a joint venture….” Read: “Explained: Why Vladimir Putin visit to India is significant: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Russian President Vladimir Putin will on Monday focus on terrorism as a common threat to both countries and the region. Like its SCO (Shanghai Cooperation Org) allies, China and Russia, India is a nuclear weapons state. The US government appears hell-bent on making India into a third nuclear armed military monster. The United States has systematically underestimated both China and India, and continues to do so. India has nuclear weapons, but not yet long-distance delivery systems.

This is something like Princess Diana being aware of Camilla and Prince Charles. It doesn’t work: “Rajnath Singh interview: ‘US aware that India, Russia are natural allies’: At a time when there has been speculation about whether Russia would be able to meet its commitments to India in terms of defence spare parts and supplies, Singh ruled out any impact of the conflict in Ukraine on India’s national security preparednesshttps://web.archive.org/web/20220413025145/https://www.hindustantimes.com/india-news/rajnath-singh-interview-us-aware-that-india-russia-are-natural-allies-101649790178760.html

Similarly, VP Kamala Harris’ Uncle (in India)called Russia “steadfast friends”, and bragged about how India tricked the CIA regarding its nuclear weapons tests: https://miningawareness.wordpress.com/2022/04/06/us-vp-kamala-harris-pro-russian-uncle-who-bragged-about-india-deceiving-the-us-cia-on-indias-nuclear-weapons-tests-visits-kamala-in-dc-shortly-after-russia-invades-ukraine/

Deals could benefit Boeing and Raytheon in the short term. However, in the long-term, this will damage both US Security, as well as Boeing and Raytheon, through copy and theft of its products.

India is planning to boost shipments to Russia by an additional $2 billion as the two nations work out a payment system in local currencies to continue bilateral trade amid sweeping international sanctions on Russia for invading Ukraine…”https://web.archive.org/web/20220412112359/https://www.livemint.com/economy/india-plans-2-bn-more-of-exports-to-sanctions-hit-russia-report-11649761022310.html

This statement makes no sense, because having the technology production within the country facilitates spying and theft of technology: “On technology-sharing, another issue that is understood to have limited the relationship from reaching its potential, Singh said that American companies should bring their technology and produce in India. “In general, no one transfers technology quickly. If they don’t want to transfer technology, they should come to India, use their technology to produce, prepare make in India items, and export to the rest of the world”. https://web.archive.org/web/20220413025145/https://www.hindustantimes.com/india-news/rajnath-singh-interview-us-aware-that-india-russia-are-natural-allies-101649790178760.html

Already in 2009: “India is keen on sourcing one million barrels per day of oil and oil-equivalent gas from Russia and has identified Sakhalin-3 in the Far East, Vankor in East Siberia, and Terbs and Titov oilfields in Timan Pechora region as fields for potential collaboration… OVL also has 20 per cent stake in Sakhalin-1 oil and gas field in Far East Russia, and in 2009 acquired Imperial Energy, which has fields in Siberia…” Read more at: https://web.archive.org/web/20200519132829/https://economictimes.indiatimes.com/industry/energy/oil-gas/india-signs-pact-expressing-interest-in-taking-stake-in-far-east-russian-oilfields/articleshow/71171981.cms?from=mdr

Meanwhile, Biden Secretary of Defense Austin, who served on Raytheon’s board, apparently only has Raytheon’s short-term interest at heart, and NOT US Security. He also served on the board of directors of NuCor, which has steel facilities in India, which may benefit. Austin, Blinken and Mayorkas should be impeached.

From Biden Secretary of Defense Austin: “We’re also deepening our cooperation in cyberspace, including through training and exercises later this year. And we’re expanding our information-sharing partnership across all warfighting domains. And meanwhile, our defense trade and technology cooperation continues to grow. We recently concluded an agreement to work together on air-launched unmanned aerial vehicles through our Defense Technology and Trade Initiative. And today we agreed to launch new supply chain cooperation measures that will let us more swiftly support each other’s priority defense requirements. India continues to acquire key U.S. defense platforms, and that is forging important and new ties between our defense industrial bases.

We’re doing all this because the United States supports India as a defense industry leader in the Indo-Pacific and a net provider of security in the region. And we all understand the challenges that we face there. The People’s Republic of China is seeking to refashion the region and the international system more broadly in ways that serve its interests. And so I’m pleased that we’ve identified new opportunities to extend the operational reach of our militaries and to coordinate more closely together across the expanse of the Indo-Pacific.

We welcome the Indian navy’s decision to join the Combined Maritime Forces, Bahrain, and we’ve also committed to more high-end exercises together. Last summer the Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group conducted the first-ever combined anti-submarine warfare and air exercise with the Indian navy and air force. And we’re looking forward to more of this sort of cooperation as we expand the scope and the complexity of Tiger Triumph, which is our annual major tri-service exercise…

Now, as two of the world’s largest democracies, the United States and India are linked by more than our common interests. We’re bound by our shared values and commitments, including ensuring that the Indo-Pacific stays on a path defined by the rule of law and freedom of the seas and respect for territorial integrity of sovereign states.

Today’s 2+2 ministerial reflects our deep commitment to maintaining open channels of communication on a range of challenging issues. As strategic threats converge, especially following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, it is more important than ever that we stand together to defend our shared values and to preserve the international rules-based order.” https://www.defense.gov/News/Transcripts/Transcript/Article/2996798/secretary-of-defense-lloyd-j-austin-iii-opening-remarks-at-a-us-india-22-joint/ https://www.state.gov/secretary-antony-j-blinken-secretary-of-defense-lloyd-austin-indian-minister-of-external-affairs-dr-s-jaishankar-and-indian-minister-of-defense-rajnath-singh-at-a-joint-press-availability/

Mayorkas, Blinken, and Austin should be impeached. Impeachment of Biden would lead to a dangerous Kamala Harris administration.

Immediately after retiring as CENTCOM Commander, Austin joined the board of Raytheon Technologies, a military contractor, in April 2016.[41][42] As of October 2020, his Raytheon stock holdings were worth roughly $500,000 and his compensation, including stock, totaled $2.7 million.[41] On September 18, 2017, he was appointed to Nucor’s board of directors.[43] On May 29, 2018, Austin was appointed as an independent director on the board of Tenet Healthcare.[44] He also operates a consulting firm and has been a partner at Pine Island Capital, an investment company with which Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Michèle Flournoy are affiliated.[45][41]https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lloyd_Austin#Private_sector
