US Congressman Elijah Cummings has certainly been a beacon of hope in darkness, and sunshine, over the last couple of years!

Next week is “Sunshine Week,” which is dedicated to increasing transparency and accountability at all levels of the federal government. The Oversight Committee plans to hold a hearing on FOIA on Wednesday, March 13, 2019.
On June 30, 2016, President Barack Obama signed into law the FOIA Improvement Act of 2016, which Cummings championed in the House of Representatives.
