From China Labor Watch:
Help CLW Continue Ivanka Trump Factory Investigations
Tuesday, August 1, 2017

The Huajian factory in Jiangxi has recently captured media attention for its abuses, connection to Ivanka Trump’s brand. This factory is also notable because it has the worst working conditions of the dozens of factories we have investigated over the past year. The discovered infringements are as follows:

●     Extreme Working Conditions (18 hours of work per day)
●     Unethical Underpayment
●     Forged Pay Stubs
●     Restrictions on Resignation
●     Inappropriate Use of Student Workers
●     Verbal Abuse of Workers by Management
●     Female Workers’ Violated Rights
●     Pay Deductions

The continuation of this investigation is critical, since CLW is unsure if the Ivanka Trump Company will take active steps to bar such violations. CLW has an opportunity to receive the funding necessary to continue this investigation. This month, CLW has been selected as a grant recipient from CREDO Mobile. Each month, CREDO Mobile takes a portion of their revenue and holds an online vote to divide their funds among three progressive nonprofits. Your vote determines how big of a grant we, as one of the nonprofit recipients selected for August, will receive. Here’s how you can help:

●     Go to CREDO’s donation election website by clicking here: https://www.credodonations.com
●     Click “choose” under China Labor Watch, and enter your email address to submit your vote.
●     Share the link with your friends and family!

Our share of this $150,000 will be critical to China Labor Watch, as it will fund  the extension of our investigation into Ivanka Trump’s supplier factories.

Your vote is crucial to our success – please vote for China Labor Watch today.

Thank you for your support,
