Two US military leaders discuss the repercussions of the Hiroshima-Nagasaki bombings and cleanup-reconstruction, and appear engaged in denial and to be proposing cover-up. The dangers of the ionizing radiation are not denied in the discussion, rather there appears shock and disbelief that radiological impacts could appear so quickly. Impacts are expected to be longer-term.

General Groves was the head of the Manhattan project and knew very well the repercussions of the bombing of Nagasaki.
