The Ukrainian defense forces repelled nearly 60 enemy attacks in five sectors of the front in the past 24 hours. In the Marinka sector, a number of invaders’ military vehicles were destroyed, 13 enemy assaults were repelled on the left bank of the Dnipro River.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in its evening update posted on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

Throughout the day, 78 combat engagements took place.

The Ukrainian Air Force hit 11 Russian manpower, weapons and military equipment clusters, as well as two enemy anti-aircraft missile systems.

The Russian army carried out 5 missile attacks and 63 airstrikes, as well as 39 MLRS attacks on the positions of the Defense Forces of Ukraine and populated areas. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are dead and wounded among the civilian population. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.

Glory to Ukraine! The seven hundred and sixth day of the large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against our state continues.

The enemy continues to ignore the laws and customs of war, uses terror tactics, strikes, and shells both military and civilian objects. The enemy actively uses aviation and FPV-type quadcopters, conducts assault operations with the support of armored vehicles.

The operational situation in the east and south of Ukraine remains difficult.

During the day, 78 combat clashes took place. The enemy launched 5 missile and 63 air strikes, carried out 39 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of our troops and settlements. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are dead and wounded among the civilian population. Residential private and apartment buildings, school and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.

In the Volyn and Polissya directions, the operational situation is without significant changes. No signs of offensive groups were found. The designated units of the armed forces of Belarus perform tasks in the border areas with Ukraine.

In the Siver and Slobozhansky directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts sabotage and intelligence activities, shells settlements from the territory of the Russian Federation, increases the density of mine-explosive barriers along the state border of Ukraine. The enemy carried out air strikes in the areas of Leonivka, Chernihiv region, Popivka, Sumy region, and Ustynivka, Kharkiv region. About 40 settlements were shelled and mortar shelled, including Bleshnya, Mykhalchyna Sloboda of Chernihiv region; Znob-Novgorodske, Druzhba, Atynske, Volodymyrivka, Turya, Ryasne, Popivka, Sumy region; Udy, Vovchansk, Mala Vovcha, Kharkiv region.

In the Kupyansky direction, our defenders repelled 4 attacks near Synkivka, Kharkiv region, where the enemy unsuccessfully tried to break through the defense of our troops. More than 10 settlements, including Synkivka, Tabayivka, Ivanivka, and Berestove of the Kharkiv region, were under artillery and mortar fire.

In the Liman direction, Ukrainian soldiers repulsed 6 attacks near Terniv and Yampolivka, Donetsk region, where the enemy tried to break through the defense of our troops. The enemy carried out air strikes in the areas of Novoyehorivka, Serebryanskye forestry of Luhansk region and Terniv, Donetsk region. He fired at more than 10 settlements with artillery and mortars, including Bilohorivka, Luhansk region and Yampolivka, Verkhnokamianske, and Spirne, Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, the defense Forces repelled 4 attacks in the areas of Bogdanivka and Klishchiivkm of Donetsk region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, tried to improve the tactical position. More than 10 settlements were under artillery and mortar fire, including Hryhorivka, Bohdanivka, Klishchiivka, Andriivka, New York, Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka direction, our defenders repelled 20 attacks in the Avdiivka area and 9 more attacks near Pervomaisk and Nevelsk Donetsk region, where the occupiers unsuccessfully tried to break through the defense of our troops. The enemy launched air strikes in the areas of Ocheretyne, Novobahmutivka, Berdychi, Orlivka, and Avdiivka, Donetsk region. More than 15 settlements were shelled by artillery and mortar shelling, including Novobakhmutivka, Berdychi, Stepove, Avdiivka, Severne, and Nevelske, Donetsk region.

In the Mariinsky direction, the defense Forces continue to deter the enemy in the areas of Georgiivka, Pobeda and Novomykhailivka, Donetsk region. Here, the invaders, with the support of aviation, tried to improve the tactical position 14 times unsuccessfully. So, in the direction of Solodke-Kostiantynivka, our defenders repelled the assault of the enemy, during which the enemy used 12 armored vehicles. As a result of the battle, 2 tanks, 6 MT-LB and 1 enemy IFV were destroyed. After receiving a worthy rebunder, the occupiers suffered significant losses and retreated. Under the artillery and mortar fire of the occupiers were Krasnohorivka, Kurakhove, Georgiivka, Pobeda, Novomykhailivka, and Katerynivka.

In the Shakhtar direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) actions. He infered air strikes in the areas of Staromayorsk and Rivnopol, Donetsk region. More than 10 settlements, including Vodiane, Vuhledar, Prechistivka, and Zolota Niva of Donetsk region, were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive (storming) actions. He struck an air strike in the area of Roboti, Zaporizhzhia region. More than 15 settlements were shelled with artillery and mortar shelling, including Poltava, Chervone, Charivne, Mala Tokmachka, Robyne, Kamianske, Zaporizhzhia region.

In the area of responsibility of OSUV “Odessa” in the Kherson direction, Kherson, Vesele, Kozatske, Ivanivka, Dniprovske, Stanislav Kherson region suffered artillery shelling of the enemy. The enemy launched air strikes in the areas of settlements of Kachkarivka, Chervonyi Mayak, Kherson region.

The occupiers do not abandon the intention to knock Ukrainian units out of the bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnieper. Thus, during the day, 13 unsuccessful attempts were made to storm the positions of our troops.

During the day, the aviation of the defense Forces struck 11 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment and 2 enemy anti-aircraft missile systems.

Units of the missile forces struck 1 area of concentration of weapons and military equipment, 1 ammunition depot, 5 artillery equipment and 1 enemy radar station.
