Jordan, Iraq, Rwanda were caught removing their names from the Ukraine Peace Summit Joint Communiqué, which condemned Russia’s invasion, Russia’s nuclear threats, Russia’s attacks on merchant vessels and threats to international food security. It means that Jordan, Iraq and Rwanda refuse to support the release of prisoners of war (POWs) and Ukrainian civilians taken hostage by Russia.

Did Jordan, Iraq, Rwanda agree to sign with the intention of withdrawing later, when they thought that no one would notice, or did they get orders from Russia, Iran, or someone else to withdraw their names?

Maybe they didn’t understand that Switzerland is a country of accountants. So, like Santa and the angels in heaven, Switzerland is keeping line-item tabs on who is on the list and off the list. Thus, Jordan, Iraq, and Rwanda were caught!

Iraq’s Kurdish President and Shi’a PM claim to be grateful for the US removing their Sunni enemy, Saddam Hussein, from power. Neither they nor Kuwait should have been helped by the US or allies if they refuse to sign a little statement saying that one country shouldn’t invade another. Jordan isn’t an ally, either. Jordan’s Queen was born and raised in Kuwait, but claims Palestinian ancestry. After the PLO took the side of Saddam Hussein, the Palestinians were chased from Kuwait, permanently. But, they don’t talk about that. May they all burn in hell, alongside Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, UAE, Iran, and their Russian allies.

The very good news is that the OAS, representing 33 countries in the Americas, signed on, as did the Ecumenical Patriarchate, Antigua and Barbuda, Zambia, the Marshall Islands and Barbados. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Organization_of_American_States

Those countries refusing to sign-removing their names are refusing to support a “commitment to refraining from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any state”.

Those countries refusing to sign-removing their names, are refusing to support nuclear safety and they are refusing to condemn nuclear threats or use of nuclear weapons.

Those countries refusing to sign-removing their names are refusing to support food security. They are refusing to support “full and safe commercial navigation”. They are refusing to condemn “attacks on merchant ships”. They are refusing to condemn attacks on civilian ports and port infrastructure. They are refusing to oppose the weaponization of food security.

Those countries refusing to sign-removing their names, are refusing to support a return of prisoners of war and civilians.

Name them again and shame them: Those attending the summit yet refusing to sign are India, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, UAE, South Africa, Armenia, Colombia, Indonesia, Libya, Thailand, Brazil, Mexico, the Vatican, the UN, OSCE refused to sign, and Jordan, Iraq, and Rwanda removed their support.

Those countries refusing to sign should not be allowed anywhere near nuclear anything and should receive no help in the event that they are invaded. For all the fake kingdoms, like Jordan, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, it’s past time to say “sauve qui peut”. https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/sauve_qui_peut See what their Russian allies will do for them, if they are attacked, especially when Russia collapse!

Summit on Peace in Ukraine: Joint Communiqué on a Peace Framework
Bürgenstock, Switzerland 16 June 2024
The ongoing war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine continues to cause large-scale human suffering and destruction, and to create risks and crises with global repercussions. We gathered in Switzerland on 15-16 June 2024 to enhance a high-level dialogue on pathways towards a comprehensive, just and lasting peace for Ukraine. We reiterated resolutions A/RES/ES-11/1 and A/RES/ES-11/6 adopted at the UN General Assembly and underscored our commitment to upholding international law including the United Nations Charter. This Summit was built on the previous discussions that have taken place based on Ukraine’s Peace Formula and other peace proposals which are in line with international law, including the United Nations Charter.

We deeply appreciate Switzerland’s hospitality and its initiative to host the High-Level Summit as expression of its firm commitment to promoting international peace and security.
We had a fruitful, comprehensive and constructive exchange of various views on pathways towards a framework for a comprehensive, just and lasting peace, based on international law, including the United Nations Charter. In particular, we reaffirm our commitment to refraining from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any state, the principles of sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity of all states, including Ukraine, within their internationally recognized borders, including territorial waters, and the resolution of disputes through peaceful means as principles of international law.

We, furthermore, have a common vision on the following crucial aspects:
* Firstly, any use of nuclear energy and nuclear installations must be safe, secured, safe-guarded and environmentally sound. Ukrainian nuclear power plants and installations, including Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, must operate safely and securely under full sovereign control of Ukraine and in line with IAEA principles and under its supervision.

Any threat or use of nuclear weapons in the context of the ongoing war against Ukraine is inadmissible.

* Secondly, global food security depends on uninterrupted manufacturing and supply of food products. In this regard, free, full and safe commercial navigation, as well as access to sea ports in the Black and Azov Seas, are critical. Attacks on merchant ships in ports and along the entire route, as well as against civilian ports and civilian port infrastructure, are unacceptable.

Food security must not be weaponized in any way. Ukrainian agricultural products should be securely and freely provided to interested third countries.

* Thirdly, all prisoners of war must be released by complete exchange. All deported and unlawfully displaced Ukrainian children, and all other Ukrainian civilians who were unlawfully detained, must be returned to Ukraine.

We believe that reaching peace requires the involvement of and dialogue between all parties. We, therefore, decided to undertake concrete steps in the future in the above-mentioned areas with further engagement of the representatives of all parties.
The United Nations Charter, including the principles of respect for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of all states, can and will serve as a basis in achieving a comprehensive, just and lasting peace in Ukraine.

The Joint Communiqué is a “living document”: other states can join the Communiqué at any time (opt in). This option is also available to states that did not participate in the summit. Likewise, states can also opt out.

If a state neither explicitly supports the Joint Communiqué nor registers an opt-out, this is deemed to be consent (silence procedure). Switzerland clearly communicated the silence procedure during the consultation of the Joint Communiqué with the states.

While visiting West Africa, Rwandan President Paul Kagame said that Russia had the right to be anywhere in Africa ― as much as any other country. He also accused the West of dragging Africa into its own political issues

Does Russia have something on the Jordanian King?
Ca 2012, “Jordan unofficially came out against the government of Bashar al-Assad in Syria (an ally of Iran), considering Iranian long-term presence in Syria as a threat to its security….

However, “On July 19, 2021, US president Joe Biden met with Jordanian king Abdullah II and discussed, among other things, the future of the Syrian crisis. In that meeting King Abdullah suggested Biden cooperate with Russia and the Government of Syria to help stabilize Syria and restore Syrian sovereignty and unity.” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jordan–Syria_relations

Jordan to replace planned nuclear plant with smaller, cheaper facility: Source cites ‘financial burden’ as main drive behind move” By Mohammad Ghazal – May 26,2018 – Last updated at May 26,2018 “Russia and Jordan are cooperating closely in the human resource development area, to implement the nuclear programme of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Currently, 100 Jordanian students are conducting their Bachelor, Master and other postgraduate studies and programs in major Russian universities, according to Toukan...” https://web.archive.org/web/20180527015408/https://www.jordantimes.com/news/local/jordan-replace-planned-nuclear-plant-smaller-cheaper-facility

Jordan’s King has welcomed brutal Chechen warlord installed by Putin, Ramzan Kadyrov: “The Chechens: Putin’s Loyal Foot Soldiers” By Sam Cranny-Evans, 4 November 2022 “Chechen units were identified as perpetrators of some of the crimes in Bucha, where they are reported to have terrorised Ukrainian civilians from the moment they entered the townhttps://www.rusi.org/explore-our-research/publications/commentary/chechens-putins-loyal-foot-soldiers

Jordan’s Chechens divided by war: For some of Jordan’s Chechens, the war is personal” By Russell Working in Zarqa, Jordan, Wednesday, 6 February, 2002, 00:24 GMT http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/1802925.stm

Some of those Chechens are anti-Russian, so the Chechen citizens of Jordan seem unlikely to be the root of the problem. “During his first two decades on the throne, Abdullah II visited Russia 19 times and established a close personal relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin. In October 2019, Abdullah II expressed support for the “strong presence of Russia” in Middle East affairs and Jordanian officials view Russia as a core pillar of the emerging multipolar order in the MENA region… Russia’s partnership with Jordan is further strengthened by community-level bonds. The presence of 12,000-30,000 Chechens in Jordan has contributed to closer bilateral relations. Chechnya’s leader Ramzan Kadyrov possesses a strong working relationship with King Abdullah II. In 2007, Kadyrov met with Chechen community leaders in Amman and Abdullah II pledged development assistance to Chechnya’s education and health sectors. In June 2014, Abdullah II visited Chechnya to solicit Kadyrov’s assistance against the threat of Chechen extremism in Jordan. King Abdullah asked Kadyrov to convey his well wishes to Russian President Vladimir Putin, stressing the deep-rooted relations between Jordan and Russia and his keenness to expand cooperation in various fields, according to a Royal Court statement.” “ King meets head of Chechen Republic: His Majesty stresses Jordan’s commitment to its historic, religious role in safeguarding Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem” By JT – Oct 10,2019 https://web.archive.org/web/20191010051251/https://www.jordantimes.com/news/local/king-meets-head-chechen-republic
