Why are there foreign caucuses in the US Congress? Why did they delete the Senate “India caucus” membership list months ago and why is the House list so difficult to find? The Senate list can be found in archives, and at the bottom of this post.

How much of a role does the India caucus play in India-First = America-Last policy?

Is this why there aren’t secondary sanctions against India? It appears that India is the weakest link for sanctions against Russia.

Who can Americans contact to complain, when so many (most?) in the US Congress are either in the India caucus or have office workers who are from India?

Even if members of the US Congress initially join with the idea of oversight, after being fed and flattered by India and pro-India members of the caucus, they could quickly become India-First/America Last lackeys.

The much smaller China caucus is called the US China working group.

Exclusive: India asked by sanctions-hit Russia for parts for key sectors
November 29, 2022 By Aditi Shah, Aftab Ahmed and Gleb Stolyarov
The list of items from Russia, which runs to nearly 14 pages, includes car engine parts like pistons, oil pumps and ignition coils… For aircraft and helicopters, Russia requested 41 items including landing gear components, fuel systems, communication systems and fire extinguishing systems, life jackets and aviation tyres… Russian metals producers like nickel and palladium giant Nornickel (GMKN.MM) have said Western sanctions and self-sanctioning by some suppliers have made it difficult for industrial companies to obtain imported equipment, spare parts, materials and technologies… The list includes nearly 200 metallurgy items…https://web.archive.org/web/20221210002153/https://www.reuters.com/world/india/india-asked-by-sanctions-hit-russia-parts-key-sectors-sources-2022-11-29/

US Senate and US House India Caucus membership lists follows the commentary. Not all members are still in the US Congress, but many will be.

India caucus member Ro Khanna has been trying to protect India against sanctions. He’s even trying to get India into NATO, which would be collective suicide for the US and Europe! SOB: https://web.archive.org/web/20220820200622/https://www.firstpost.com/world/us-seeks-to-add-india-to-nato-plus-says-american-congressman-ro-khanna-10961821.html NATO member Turkey was sanctioned for buying weapons from Russia, but India has a Joint Venture with the Russian Government, as well as buying weapons from them.

Chairs of the Senate “India Caucus” were already trying to get India a CAATSA sanctions waiver in Oct. 2021: https://www.warner.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/pressreleases?ID=67EC9BC6-B267-4C5B-8ED1-B55CBF0DF685 It’s unclear if the CAATSA sanctions waiver was sneaked through the US Senate or not, but probably not. It does not seem to have been sneaked into the omnibus. “Currently, the Countering America’s Adversaries Through Sanctions Act (CAASTA) imposes sanctions on countries who purchase arms from certain nations, such as Russia.” https://web.archive.org/web/20221209083627/https://sherman.house.gov/media-center/press-releases/house-passes-khanna-sherman-amendment-to-strengthen-the-us-india Ro Khanna made a stand-alone bill, so maybe it wasn’t sneaked into a larger Senate bill. Russia and India have a close partnership. This is in the interest of India and Russia NOT the USA. Ro Khanna is a liar: “Waiver Of CAATSA Sanctions In Best Interests Of United States And The United States-India Defense Partnership.—While India faces immediate needs to maintain its heavily Russian-built weapons systems, a waiver to sanctions under the Countering America’s Adversaries Through Sanctions Act during this transition period is in the best interests of the United States and the United States-India defense partnership to deter aggressors in light of Russia and China’s close partnership.” https://www.congress.gov/bill/117th-congress/house-bill/8757/text

The Russian joint venture partner of the Government of India, in the making of BrahMos missiles, has been sanctioned, but India has not. https://sanctionssearch.ofac.treas.gov/Details.aspx?id=16884 Instead, Yellen went to India and called them “trusted trading partners” and an “indispensable partner to the United States”.

India has Biden VP Kamala Harris’ uncle to advise them on sanctions, as well as Russia-India proxy Ro Khanna, whose grandfather was a close ally to pro-Soviet Indira Gandhi. Kamala’s uncle, G. Balachandran, was advising the Government of India’s Ministry of Defence on CAATSA sanctions, while Kamala was a sitting US Senator. He was still advising them as of November 16, 2022, appearing as an “independent scholar” in an “only by invitation” meeting at an IDSA event. Don’t let the title make anyone complacent, her “Uncle Bala” bragged about India fooling the US in their nuclear weapons test. And, since it’s “only by invitation” there is no information about it to be found about it. Why so secretive?: https://web.archive.org/web/20221220213316/https://idsa.in/event/Roundtable-on-Dangers-of-Tactical-Nuclear-Weapons https://miningawareness.wordpress.com/2022/04/06/us-vp-kamala-harris-pro-russian-uncle-who-bragged-about-india-deceiving-the-us-cia-on-indias-nuclear-weapons-tests-visits-kamala-in-dc-shortly-after-russia-invades-ukraine/
The institute where he formerly worked and now is still unofficially affiliated is “An autonomous body under Ministry of Defence, IDSA was established as a registered society in New Delhi in 1965, dedicated to objective research and policy relevant studies on all aspects of defence and security. Its aim is to promote national and international security through the generation and dissemination of knowledge on defence and security-related issues.” https://web.archive.org/web/20230103010903/https://pib.gov.in/PressReleaseIframePage.aspx?PRID=1603513

The Soviets “love-bombed” Indira Gandhi when she was the daughter of India PM Nehru, gave her a mink coat, and sent her on vacation in Crimea, so she loved Russia. India, of course, surely “love-bombs” members of the India caucus. Ro Khanna has recently led the charge in the US House to give India a CAATSA sanctions waiver. He was also a facebook friend with Chinese spy “Fang-Fang”: https://miningawareness.wordpress.com/2020/12/30/us-congressman-ro-khanna-allegedly-only-ended-facebook-friendship-with-chinese-spy-a-few-weeks-ago-ros-grandfather-founded-socialist-action-which-was-kgb-infiltrated-close/

If you want to know about US-India relations, you have to read India’s news. Ro Khanna’s misdeeds, as reported by India. (They are happy to have their own US Congressman working on their behalf against the security of the American people):
CAATSA waiver to India: Indian-American Congressman introduces standalone bill in US House Ro Khanna has introduced bill in the US House of Representatives seeking a waiver to India against the punitive CAATSA sanctions, asserting that it is in the best interests of both countries to deter ‘aggressors’ in light of Russia and China’s close ties”. Kamala Harris Uncle Gopalan Balachandran on India Deceiving the CIA: “India readily admitted that it knew how to deceive the United States. It referenced information the United States had shown it in the past and also downloaded tools freely available from the Internet. In an Associated Press article of 15 May 1998, Indian nuclear researcher G. Balachandran stated, “It’s not a failure of the CIA. It’s a matter of their intelligence being good, our deception being better, An action that further assisted the Indians in their deception campaign was the “sharing” of intelligence and overhead imagery by the United States. In an effort to thwart a nuclear test in December 1995 and January 1996, the United States had shared this information with the Indians to convey the message that “We know what you are doing and do not approve. By demonstrating the US capability to track India’s actions and… https://www.cia.gov/library/readingroom/docs/DOC_0000935281.pdf

US VP Kamala Harris’ Pro-Russian Uncle, Who Bragged About India Deceiving the US-CIA on India’s Nuclear Weapons Tests, Visits Kamala in DC Shortly After Russia Invades Ukraine

This is the 2013 bio for Kamala’s uncle, G. Balachandran, at the IDSA. His niece, Kamala, sat on the US Senate on the Intelligence and Homeland Security Committees from 2017 until she became Biden’s Vice President. G. Balachandran appears to have left most of these posts when the Congress Party lost power, with the exception of IDSA: “Dr. G. Balachandran is a Consulting Fellow at the IDSA. He has a PhD in Economics and Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin. His specialization includes issues related to economics and technology. He is associated with the National Maritime Foundation, New Delhi. He is a Consultant both to the Americas Division of the Indian Ministry of External Affairs and to the Confederation of Indian Industry. Dr. Balachandran has conducted studies and published widely on the India-United States Next Steps in Strategic Partnership as well as on India-US Civil Nuclear Co-operation Agreement. He has also carried out studies on Pakistan’s Defence Expenditure, on US Export Control Procedures and policy. He is currently engaged in a study on Pakistan’s Energy Security.http://web.archive.org/web/20130530025413/https://idsa.in/profile/gbalachandran

Ro Khanna sits on the US House Armed Services Committee which “oversees all laws pertaining to the United States military and exercises oversight on the annual national defense budget” and “is also a member the Readiness and Strategic Forces subcommittees.” He is on the House Budget Committee. He is part of the secretive (membership list almost impossible to find) US House India Caucus: “Indian-American Ro Khanna named Democratic vice chair of Congressional India Caucus”, Orissa Post, Dec. 17th, 2020 https://archive.vn/7pT3g The article says that Ro would “would spend hours with his grandfather listening to him.” His grandfather was close to Indira Gandhi and part of the socialist-communist faction of India’s Congress Party, which was infiltrated by the KGB.

Ro Khanna’s grandfather, Amarnath Vidyalankar, helped create the [India National] “Congress Forum for Socialist Action“, which influenced Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and India, and apparently led India to its pro-Soviet tilt (Union of Soviet Socialist Republics). The Forum for Socialist Action was infiltrated by the Communist Party of India and one of its leading figures was recruited in 1971 by the KGB as Agent RERO for both political intelligence and as a KGB agent recruiter, according to the Mitrokhin archives.

Why is NATO member Turkey under sanctions but India not? Because Turkey doesn’t have members of the US Congress or a VP? Apart from occupants of the US Congress, born in India and with India roots, there are India “caucuses” in the US Congress.

The China caucus is called “the US-China working group” https://web.archive.org/web/20200804214400/https://uschinaworkinggroup-larsen.house.gov/media-center/press-releases/larsen-lahood-return-from-us-china-working-group-trip-to-china
It’s smaller than the India caucus: https://web.archive.org/web/20220702234654/https://uschinaworkinggroup-larsen.house.gov/members https://web.archive.org/web/20201025235356/https://uschinaworkinggroup-larsen.house.gov/members

Some of these names will no longer be in the US Congress. Others remain:
Senate India Caucus
Senator Warner and Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) serve as the current co-chairs of the Senate India Caucus.

The Senate India Caucus is a bipartisan coalition that brings national attention to domestic and international issues that affect our economies and security.

Formed in 2004 by Sens. John Cornyn and Hillary Clinton (D-NY), it was the first country-focused caucus established in the Senate. It promotes a relationship between India and the United States, based on mutual trust and respect, to increase close collaboration across a broad spectrum of strategic interests, such as combating terrorism and promoting democracy, economic development, human rights, scientific research, and natural disaster relief.

Below is a list of current India Caucus members:
