Samuel Otis Brinton, the luggage thief. Has he stolen luggage from other ladies? It sounds like it, if he left DC without luggage. How many others has he stolen?

it’s completely unacceptable to allow any individual with such a severe lack of judgment to influence policy,” said Clyde… “Despite not checking a bag before flying out of Washington, D.C., surveillance footage reveals Brinton taking and leaving with luggage from the baggage carousel at the Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport on September 16th.1 After initially lying to the police, Brinton later admitted to taking a suitcase valued at $2,325 and hiding the owner’s belongings in a hotel room.2 Alarmingly, Brinton has been observed using the stolen suitcase on multiple trips to Washington, D.C.3, and was ultimately charged with felony theft, which carries a penalty of up to five years imprisonment, a $10,000 fine, or both.”

Samuel (aka Sam) Brinton, Biden’s clown-like gender confused nuclear waste official, stole a woman’s luggage. A biological male, Sam wants people to call him “they”, instead of “he” and even ostensibly conservative media is playing along. That makes it appear that he and an accomplice stole the suitcase, whereas he is apparently the only thief. There’s something called “imperial we” to replace “I”, but no such thing as imperial “they” to replace “he” in the manner that he wants.

Meanwhile, the US is giving away more money to bribe communities to put “interim” storage parking lots in their neighborhood, which are really long-term sites in containers and at facilities, which aren’t fit for purpose for more than a short period, if at all.

Sam the klepto-clown provides a useful diversion from the serious, unsolved, problem of nuclear waste. It also keeps everyone from wondering why the US is importing radioactive (radium) and lead contaminated waste from Australia, which dates from 1915, too.

Press Releases
Rep. Clyde Demands Resignation of Biden’s Nuclear Official Following Felony Theft Charge Washington, December 6, 2022
Washington, D.C. — Today, Congressman Andrew Clyde (GA-09) led 15 of his colleagues in sending a letter to Department of Energy (DOE) Secretary Jennifer Granholm demanding the resignation of Deputy Assistant Secretary of Spent Fuel and Waste Disposition in the Office of Nuclear Energy, Sam Brinton, who was recently put on leave following felony theft charges.

The DOE recently issued notice that Brinton was placed on leave without providing crucial context clarifying that his recent employment status was the result of a felony charge after he stole a woman’s luggage — valued at $2,325. Additionally, the Department has refused to clarify whether Brinton is still receiving his taxpayer-funded salary.

In addition to demanding Brinton’s resignation, the lawmakers urge Secretary Granholm to prioritize helping Americans suffering under the Biden Administration’s self-inflicted energy crisis: “Your Department should be dedicated to a pro-American energy agenda, focusing on restoring energy independence and lowering energy prices across the nation. However, to many Americans, it appears that you are more interested in playing politics and protecting an employee who admitted to felony theft to police than providing real solutions for hard-working Americans.”

“While the Biden Administration has alarmingly embraced Sam Brinton’s disturbing activities as representative of the Department of Energy, it’s completely unacceptable to allow any individual with such a severe lack of judgment to influence policy,” said Clyde. “Employing Brinton after both the felony theft charge and his admission of guilt exemplifies the Left’s adherence to soft-on-crime policies, refusal to deliver accountability, and disrespect for our government agencies. It’s clearly time for Sam Brinton to resign his post at the Department of Energy and for the Biden Administration to begin employing skilled individuals dedicated to fixing the crises created by President Biden’s failed policies.”

“Time and time again, the Administration has filled positions to achieve woke milestones rather than employing qualified individuals charged with forging the future of our nation. Americans simply deserve better,” Clyde added.

The Honorable Jennifer M. Granholm Secretary U.S. Department of Energy 1000 Independence Ave. SW Washington, D.C. 20585

Dear Secretary Granholm:

We write to respectfully demand the resignation of the Department of Energy’s Deputy Assistant Secretary of Spent Fuel and Waste Disposition, Sam Brinton, who was recently put on leave following felony theft charges.

Despite not checking a bag before flying out of Washington, D.C., surveillance footage reveals Brinton taking and leaving with luggage from the baggage carousel at the Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport on September 16th.1 After initially lying to the police, Brinton later admitted to taking a suitcase valued at $2,325 and hiding the owner’s belongings in a hotel room.2 Alarmingly, Brinton has been observed using the stolen suitcase on multiple trips to Washington, D.C.3, and was ultimately charged with felony theft, which carries a penalty of up to five years imprisonment, a $10,000 fine, or both.

As you are aware, your Department issued notice that Sam Brinton was placed on leave without providing crucial context clarifying that Brinton’s recent employment status was the result of a felony charge. As an appointed official, Sam Brinton represents both your Department and the United States. It is simply not possible for an individual to represent American values and simultaneously violate the felony laws of the land. Brinton’s actions, along with your Department’s lack of transparency when dealing with this matter, reflect poorly on the Department of Energy, and they raise concern as to the Biden Administration’s priorities when appointing high-ranking officials. It is imperative that we do not allow a person charged with a felony to influence America’s policies.

Furthermore, our nation is in the midst of an energy crisis – a crisis that was unquestionably created by the Biden Administration’s reckless, radical, and failed policies. Your Department should be dedicated to a pro-American energy agenda, focusing on restoring energy

independence and lowering energy prices across the nation. However, to many Americans, it appears that you are more interested in playing politics and protecting an employee who admitted to felony theft to police than providing real solutions for hard-working Americans.

Therefore, we demand the resignation of Sam Brinton, and we implore you to set aside petty politics and appoint only the most qualified and dedicated individuals to influence America’s energy sector.

Please provide your fully transparent response no later than December 20, 2022.

Sincerely,
