Not only does Russia have nuclear weapons, it has one of two official stores of smallpox, as well as other dangerous pathogens. These may include weaponized viruses and bacteria.
Monkeypox is related to smallpox, and the smallpox vaccine offers some protection, and can be given post-exposure. Hence, the benefit of a quick test, especially for those who never received a smallpox vaccine.
It has been estimated that by 1990, VECTOR could produce two tons of weaponized smallpox per year. Smallpox is still stored at the VECTOR facility.
Monkeypox reappeared in Nigeria ca 2017, and cases have recently spread to the UK, EU, US, Canada and Australia.
“Monkeypox was first discovered in 1958 when two outbreaks of a pox-like disease occurred in colonies of monkeys kept for research, hence the name ‘monkeypox.’ The first human case of monkeypox was recorded in 1970 in the Democratic Republic of Congo during a period of intensified effort to eliminate smallpox. Since then monkeypox has been reported in humans in other central and western African countries.“ https://www.cdc.gov/poxvirus/monkeypox/index.html
“At least in Soviet times the VECTOR facility was a nexus for biological warfare research… though the nature of any ongoing research in this area is uncertain.”https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/State_Research_Center_of_Virology_and_Biotechnology_VECTOR
Last year, a US State Department report claimed that Russia “maintains an offensive biological weapons program” https://www.express.co.uk/news/world/1575307/Russia-news-Vladimir-putin-soviet-era-bio-weapons-laboratory-smallpox
The US should have demanded immediate payment for the weapons, food, and equipment provided to the USSR from 1941-1945, and then the USSR wouldn’t have had as much money to do bioweapons or nuclear weapons research. Russia paid back 5%, but due to inflation it was worth between 1% and 2% by the time it was repaid in 1993.
“The use of BW [bioweapons] had been integrated into Soviet special war plans for a range of tactical operations where they would have been delivered using spray tanks and cluster bombs and strategic operations where intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) and strategic bombers would have carried plague, anthrax, or smallpox… Although Biopreparat had worked with a highly virulent, rapidly infectious ―battle strain of smallpox (India-1) since 1959, they began research in 1987 to develop an even more virulent smallpox weapon, and tested it in 1990…” “Next Generation Bioweapons: Genetic Engineering and BW – 14 US Air Force Counterproliferation Center Future Warfare Series” No. 14 By Michael J. Ainscough https://media.defense.gov/2019/Apr/11/2002115480/-1/-1/0/14NEXTGENBIOWEAPONS.PDF
“the U.S. and U.K. governments never obtained clear evidence of the program’s closure from 1990 to the present day, raising the critical question whether the means for waging biological warfare could be resurrected in Russia in the future…. Biopreparat, an ostensibly civilian organization, was established to manage a top secret program, code-named Ferment, whose objective was to apply genetic engineering to develop strains of pathogenic agents that had never existed in nature.” See Harvard summary page of “The Soviet Biological Weapons Program A History” By Milton Leitenberg Raymond A. Zilinskas With Jens H. Kuhn https://www.hup.harvard.edu/catalog.php?isbn=9780674047709&content=book
“VECTOR was once the center of the Soviet biological warfare effort’s virology work, and home to many of the world’s leading experts in weaponizing viruses…. only a very small core of people knew that VECTOR’s classified mission was to research, develop, and lab-test viruses to arm biological weapons. In their seminal book The Soviet Biological Weapons Program, Milton Leitenberg and Ray Zilinskas estimated that by the time the Soviet Union collapsed in 1990, VECTOR had the capacity to produce two tons of weaponized variola virus a year,” i.e. weaponized smallpox. VECTOR Lab Announces Rapid Monkeypox Test for Bedside Use
“In order to quickly detect the possible cases of monkeypox, the Vector State Research Center of Virology and Biotechnology of the Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing has rapidly developed an autonomous test system and successfully conducted its laboratory trials,” according to their press statement. According to TASS, it was “stressed that the test is simple enough to be used outside of a laboratory, that is, in a “bedside” format. Additionally, it is sufficiently efficient and specific since it does not cause cross-reactions with measles, rubella or chickenpox viruses…” See: “Vector Center creates test system for detection of monkeypox: The agency stressed that the test is simple enough to be used outside of a laboratory, that is, in a “bedside” format” 20 MAY 2022, 02:35 MOSCOW,TASS https://archive.ph/RiIXb https://tass. com/society/1453559
“In Russia, a test system has been created for the rapid detection of cases of monkeypox.
To quickly identify possible cases of monkeypox, the Vector State Scientific Center for Virology and Biotechnology of Rospotrebnadzor quickly created an autonomous test system and successfully conducted its laboratory tests,” the Rospotrebnadzor said in a statement.
It is noted that the test is effective and does not detect cross-reactions with measles, rubella and chickenpox viruses….” See: “Rospotrebnadzor: Vector has created a test system for the rapid detection of monkeypox, May 19, 2022, 12:18, RT https://web.archive.org/web/20220519101810/https://russian.rt.com/russia/news/1005016-rospotrebnadzor-test-sistema-ospa-obezyan
In the US: “Diagnostic testing for Orthopoxviruses (which includes monkeypox virus) is available at LRN laboratories located throughout the United States and abroad. There is no commercial assay to detect monkeypox virus.” https://www.cdc.gov/poxvirus/monkeypox/lab-personnel/lab-procedures.html
Monkeypox Research in Post Soviet Russia
The Russia lab test appears to be US taxpayer $ at work for America’s longstanding enemy. It was supposed to keep the researchers from providing information to terrorists. Instead, the US was directly funding a terrorist country named Russia. This was in the period of Russia’s Chechen invasions-wars.
This amount would have the buying power of approximately $623,733 today. https://www.bls.gov/data/inflation_calculator.htm
DTRA-SPONSORED RESEARCH PROJECTS IN RUSSIA included:
“Genome of Monkeypox Virus (ISTC #884-2p) State Research Center of Virology and Biotechnology Vector, Koltsovo
* Project Agreement Date: 10/8/99
* Projected End Date: 10/8/01
* Cost: $362,880
Key Findings: A long-range PCR approach was used to construct clones for the complete genomes of different strains of pox viruses, including variola, to do comparative sequencing that establishes relationships among various viral forms. The work established that monkeypox is less related to variola than are other pox viruses, suggesting that the origin of the monkeypox disease is not related to smallpox”. https://miningawareness.wordpress.com/2022/03/08/will-russia-self-invade-to-destroy-its-us-funded-bio-labs-us-gave-1-billion-to-russia-to-fund-its-bio-labs-research-heres-a-long-list-of-us-funded-russian-bio-projects/
One publication, which is probably from this funding: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/12083817. Apparently there was National Academy of Science funding and Russia funding for monkeypox research, as well: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0042682202914467?via%3Dihub

The fact that some pro-Russian social media sites were alleging that the west may release a bioweapon in Ukraine and/or that Russia is targeting bioweapons facilities in Ukraine, suggested that it is Russia who was planning to release a bioweapon. Was Covid-19 Russia’s test run? Has monkeypox been a test run by Russia of a pox bioweapon? They appear prepared prepared for the monkeypox. Of course, everyone’s known there is a problem since 2017, and Russia has soldiers and resource extraction interests in Africa.
