If Biden chooses her as VP, she could be President, God forbid.
Why did Kamala Harris tell Joe Biden that her uncle is a journalist and mathematician? She didn’t think it a good idea to point out that her uncle was working for an Institute funded by India’s Ministry of Defence? Her uncle Gopalan Balachandran is to the left. He has worked as a journalist, so this is a lie of omission.
Kamala Harris’ maternal uncle Gopalan Balachandran (G. Balachandran) who was, up until last year, a “consulting fellow at the Institute for Defence Studies and Analysis, Delhi”, is apparently still helping out there, as seen below. Now the web site says “Dr G. Balachandran was a Consultant at IDSA“.
He is an expert primarily on nuclear and on the Americas. His official tenure at IDSA overlapped with Kamala’s positions on US Senate Committees on Homeland Security; and Select Committee on Intelligence for at least two years.
IDSA provides training for government of India civilian and military personnel. It is funded by India’s Ministry of Defence.
And, of course he would stay in contact and help out, when needed. There doesn’t seem anything secretive about the article, but it means he is still in the loop and communicating with people affiliated with the IDSA. These are his friends and his country, but India isn’t the United States and his niece, whose inauguration he attended, and where she lied to Biden about his career, at least by omission, shouldn’t be on such sensitive committees. She certainly shouldn’t be VP pick. Chances are Gopalan Balachandran knows what is blotted out of sensitive materials, whereas Americans do not.
We are not criticizing him, nor the IDSA, but rather Kamala Harris and the apparent failure to vet her by media, the US government, and Biden campaign. Where are all of our spies and FBI? This family relationship remains a security threat. The US and India should both take a look. He could be a spy for the US or she/he for India or double agents. Here is the thanks and as can be seen it was 2020. It can be seen in context further below on p. 15 of the article Military Manpower Cost in India and the United States: A Comparative Analysis” May 29, 2020, by Abhay Kumar Singh
Her family are Brahmin elites. Her uncle and grandfather, PV Gopalan, were lifelong high ranking public servants for India. They primarily served India’s Congress Party, which was mostly Soviet allied. Kamala lived and went to school in an area of greater Montreal which is so elite that most Montrealers have never been there. Her family lives in an elite district in India, too.
Beware in research. There is another (younger) academic who has her uncle’s name and who works in Switzerland and may or may not be kin. Her uncle still lives in India, unless he moved to the US recently.

It looks like a nice place. However, while the US government welcomes people from India, India only accepts their own people back home as immigrants.
