Is (India’s) “Immigration Voice” being scammed by their Cuban-American lawyer? If they are, it is pretty funny. And, signs seem to point in that direction. Unless, S386 isn’t the end-game. Immigration Voice retained Cuban-American Leon Fresco as their lawyer in Jan 2017: https://archive.li/Fm3S3. Leon Fresco claims partial authorship of the 2013 immigration bill. At that time, he was working for the US government, and yet this bill is against the interest of the American people. So, it seems fair to conclude that just because he is paid by a group doesn’t mean that he is working in their best interest. Both HR1044/S386 and Senator Durbin’s RELIEF S2603 for immigrants act also work against the interest of the American people. And, yet, Leon Fresco, was appointed US Homeland Security Advisory Council Member, even as he advocated for (India’s) “Immigration Voice” and HR1044/S386.

While bad for America, S386 appears good for migrants from India who want to be US citizens, because it gives most work related green cards to migrants from India, and would allow a doubling of family joining from India.

But, there are a few other groups that benefit, through family joining, with S386. One of those groups is Cubans: https://miningawareness.wordpress.com/2019/09/26/s386-to-increase-family-joining-migration-from-mexico-india-china-others-by-more-than-doubling-per-country-family-joining-cap/

However, Cubans still get many refugee and/or asylum visas. And, Leon Fresco isn’t just any Cuban-American. Apart from being an important Washington lawyer and operative, he is Jewish-Cuban-American or Cuban-Jewish-American. And, his wife, Sophie, is French, and seems to be Jewish, as well. This also means that once he ruins the United States that he can move to the EU, and Israel, while the average American is left to suffer.

Leon’s parents are Cuban born Salomon Fresco (1949-2018) (who worked for an Israeli owned pharma co – Teva subsidiary), and Rachel Fresco (apparently a real estate agent). They both attended Barry University. Based on our research, Rachel Fresco seems to be Jewish from New York. We don’t know her maiden name. We don’t know if she is Cuban-Jewish-American or not. One can but wonder if she is kin to William Barr, however, because Barr and Leon Fresco somehow look kin. Leon’s wife Sophie tweeted that they may go to Israel next summer. They seem to have an attachment to Israel. Furthermore, his wife, Sophie, appears to be a religious Jew.

Now, let’s be logical here. Does anyone really believe that a Cuban-Jewish-American married to a French woman (apparently Jewish, as well) would lock out almost everyone but people from India, and a few other countries? There’s no reason to believe that Leon Fresco descends from India’s Jews. Rather, the name Fresco seems to be British-Dutch Jewish. His wife is clearly French.

After the Holocaust, does anyone believe that Leon Fresco would do anything which undermines, in any way, the possibility for Jewish people to immigrate to the United States? Leon Fresco actually wrote the Israel E-2 Visa Bill. Furthermore, S386 would probably make it more difficult for his wife to bring in family from France.

And, Jews live all over the world. Furthermore, there are only an estimated 14.6 million Jews in the entire world. They still have not recovered to their pre-Holocaust levels. In stark contrast, India has a population of 1.3 billion and a diaspora population of around 31 million.
https://www.census.gov/popclock/ Currently there are still more Jewish-Americans, than Americans from India (ethnicity) but S386 will quickly make Indo-Americans surpass Jewish Americans. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Jews Clearly, S386 is not in the interest of Jewish Americans, as a group.

Leon Fresco claims credit for the 2013 immigration law, which seems to have been reincarnated as Durbin’s RELIEF Act (S2603). This raises the question of if Fresco (ImmiVoice) and Senator Durbin (plus immigration lawyer Charles Kuck-“Support All of Us”) are playing a game together by pitting S386 against S2603 to try to increase overall green card numbers to the detriment of the American people. We note, as well, that Senator Mike Lee, who is pushing S386, AND immigration attorney Charles Kuck are both Mormons. Notably, immigration lawyer Charles Kuck supported S386 in June, and opposed it by 26 September: June 28, 2019: https://archive.li/1LdKF September 26, 2019: https://archive.li/YkvEe Let’s be clear: “Support All of Us” should be renamed, “Support All of the World Except the US”. They would put the final nail in the coffin for American born and raised PhDs, as well as making overpopulation still worse. None of these bills are in the interest of the United States or the American people. With current numbers, the United States is getting almost a million new US citizens per year. This is without precedent, and without precedence. It is environmentally, socially, and economically unsustainable.

It may be that Leon Fresco is taking a calculated risk and indeed putting India first, in the belief that the US Congress will be forced to come back and increase overall green card numbers to let in individuals from other countries. Or he may be engaged in a scheme whereby he confuses people into supporting Durbin’s RELIEF act. Or, perhaps Immi Voice is being scammed by Leon.

So, who will get the last laugh? Migrants from India? Leon Fresco? Rest of the World (ROW) Migrants? Or the American people?

Economic migrants have home countries. Many Americans don’t have another home. So, the answer to what to do about green-card backlog is clear. The backlogged return home. It’s a no-brainer. Professional and non-professional Americans have had their careers and lives ruined for decades by economic migrants.

His Homeland Security Advisory Council Members bio:
Leon Fresco is an immigration attorney in Holland & Knight’s Washington, D.C., office where he focuses his practice on providing global immigration representation to businesses and individuals. He also represents clients in administrative law and government relations matters and has extensive appellate, commercial litigation, and legislation experience.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. Fresco was the Deputy Assistant Attorney General for the Office of Immigration Litigation at the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) Civil Division. In this position, Mr. Fresco provided litigation risk assessments to cabinet members in Executive Branch agencies. He also oversaw all civil immigration litigation on behalf of the federal government, including representation of the DOJ, DHS, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) and the U.S. Department of State (DOS). This involved supervision of more than 350 attorneys working on nearly 10,000 cases per year. He also advised and assisted client agencies in drafting immigration regulations.

Prior to joining the DOJ, Mr. Fresco was the staff director for the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Immigration, handling matters involving immigration, refugees and border security, including managing the subcommittee’s oversight functions involving the DOJ, DHS, HHS, DOL and DOS. He was the principal advisor to Senator Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), former chairman of the subcommittee, on all aspects of immigration law and policy. During his time on the subcommittee, Mr. Fresco drafted several pieces of legislation, including: 1) the Border Security, Economic Opportunity and Immigration Modernization Act; 2) the James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Reauthorization Act; 3) the Emergency Border Security Supplemental Appropriations Act; and 4) the Israel E-2 Visa Bill. Mr. Fresco received a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1999 and a J.D. from Yale Law School in 2003.”

In May of 2019, Leon Fresco, Partner, Holland & Knight, counsel for Immi Voice, was appointed as a Homeland Security Advisory Council Member, by Acting Secretary Kevin McAleenan.

Leon Fresco’s wife, Sophie M.T. “Mrs. Sophie Fresco” tweeted about the resignation of Kevin McAleenan, who appointed her husband to the Homeland Security Advisory Council. She mentions being sorry for those who worked to get McAleenan appointed! Was her husband one of them? https://archive.li/MpF6L Did her husband, Leon Fresco, get McAleenan appointed so that he would appoint her husband? https://twitter.com/huffpost/status/1182825665441210370 She mentions people wishing her evil. https://archive.li/ezxpu Who and why? Because of her husband’s work trying to screw over the USA? Ou quelque chose d’autre?

About Immigration Voice
Cuban-Americans would benefit by doubling extended family joining, under S386

However, lots of Cubans immigrate as refugees or for asylum. We doubt that Leon Fresco has kin left in Cuba. If yes, then few.

The spikes are over one million new US citizens per year:
