Re: Cost Considerations in Rulemaking Docket ID: EPA-HQ-OA-2018-0107 Agency: Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Proposed Rule Comment Deadline August 13th, 11.59 pm: https://www.regulations.gov/docket?D=EPA-HQ-OA-2018-0107
One comment submitted by the public:
“It is painfully obvious that the current head of the EPA is taking out the E and the P out of the EPA, which is benefiting all the businesses which have been regulated by the EPA in the savings they are incurring by not having to comply with the now cancelled regulations.
What is not benefiting from this destruction of the EPA is the environment and all of us who will be experiencing greater health risks and shorter life spans due to greater contamination of our country’s water and air, along with adding to increasing harsher weather events, corresponding property damage and crop losses.
There is an obvious blinded view that increasing consistency and transparency consideration of costs and benefits dominated as to its effects for the business community, while leaving out the effects for our country’s environment.” https://www.regulations.gov/document?D=EPA-HQ-OA-2018-0107-0209
