For his 2017-18 campaign committees, Congressman Jim Jordan got $9,000 from the Koch Industries PAC and $1000 from a Coal PAC. Trey Gowdy got $5,000 from the Koch PAC. In 2015-16, they both got $10,000 each. In 2013-14 Gowdy got $7500 and Jordan $10,000. In 2011-12, Jordan got $11,000 and Gowdy $8,500 from Koch PACs. There may be additional Koch related PACs, which contributed to them. On the FEC.gov web site any earlier donations can be found.
US Congressman Nadler explains what Jordan-Gowdy are up to:
“the fight over document production seems to have boiled down to certain documents that the Republicans know the Department of Justice cannot turn over— much of it evidence related to an ongoing criminal investigation, the scoping documents outlining specific lines of inquiry in an ongoing criminal investigation, and the identities of confidential human sources still working undercover in the field. “And that, of course, is the whole point. As part of their coordinated and determined effort to undermine the Special Counsel’s investigation, Republicans are requesting documents they know they cannot have. “If they somehow find themselves in possession of sensitive documents that go to the core of the Special Counsel’s investigation, and if past practice holds, those documents will end up in the possession of the subject of the investigation—namely, President Trump…” (US Congressman Nadler, 28 June 2018)

Trump’s former Secretary of State had been Exxon CEO, his new one has been called the Koch Brother’s favorite Congressman: “Koch Industries, headquartered in Pompeo’s former Wichita district, has funneled more money to Pompeo than any other federal politician. Bolstered by $400,500 from Koch Industries’ corporate PAC and individual employees, Pompeo won four terms before quickly rising through the ranks of the Trump administration.” “The Koch brothers’ favorite congressman is up for secretary of state. Which senators hold his fate in their hands?” by Matthew Kelly on April 23, 2018, https://www.opensecrets.org/news/2018/04/pompeo-sec-of-state-committee-vote/
In 1929 to 1931 Fred Koch, father to the Koch brothers, was in the Soviet Union building oil refineries for Stalin. He built refineries for Nazi Germany, too, in the runup to World War II. He returned to Russia in 1956 with a group of business people. He was in Iraq in 1958, just prior to the Iraq Coup/Revolution. Prior to working in the Soviet Union, he worked in England. Where is the evidence that he ever stopped doing business in Russia? It has been noted that it was only after this last trip that he became vocally anti-communist. Why? Or was it a cover for continued dealings with Russia? He was a founding member of the John Birch Society. Trump mentor, Roy Cohn, through whom Trump met Roger Stone (and apparently Paul Manafort) was also a member of the John Birch Society. In 2002, a Koch company imported petroleum from TNK to sell to the US government for its strategic reserve. It probably still imports Russian petroleum products – a lot is still imported. Did the Koch family ever stop working in Russia? Someone was already importing petroleum in the mid 90s. Who imported it?
The various Koch entities are mostly privately owned and held tightly by the Koch Brothers and it is not easy to find information on them. Mueller needs to force open documentation in the context of the Trump Russia affair, since the Republican dominated Congress will not. Or, perhaps, some sort of legal action can be taken by the public. The Kochs are apparently behind a push for uranium mining in the area of the Grand Canyon, suggesting that they may deal in uranium. See: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/marcia-g-yerman/the-grand-canyon-meets-th_b_10386880.html
Some Koch companies are Flint Hills, Georgia Pacific, Guardian Industries, INVISTA, Molex, Koch Ag and Energy Solutions, Koch Chemical Technology Group, Koch Minerals, Koch Pipeline, Koch Supply and Trading, Matador Cattle Co. Koch-Glitsch is a subsidiary of the Koch Chemical Technology Group.
