Russia-Deripaska wanted Instagram and YouTube to take down the damning photos of him and a powerful Russian senior politician Prikhodko on Deripaska’s yacht. Instagram has complied. Youtube not as of this writing. Except for Prikhodko and Deripaska’s wives, the damning part isn’t really about the Escort, Nastya Rybka, who accompanied them, although it could give Deripaska leverage over Prikhodko. Rather, the damning part is that a high level Kremlin official spent a few days on a businessman’s yacht.
In the corruption investigation video, Navalny suggests, as well, that this Prikhodko-Deripaska yacht trip is a missing link in the Trump campaign’s connection to Russia. Former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort is linked to Deripaska.
Why didn’t they take the cell phones away from the Escort? Or was the video made with a different device? She outwitted them? In her tell-all book, the Escort, Nastya Rybka, very aptly called the senior politician (Prikhodko), the éminence grise (grey eminence) of the regime, the Richelieu of our times (France’s powerful Cardinal Richelieu). She also concludes that Deripaska is fearful of Prikhodko. Is that book now banned?
