US Congressman Schiff was interviewed on ABC this week by Martha Raddatz. At ca 9 min 20 sec. http://youtu.be/Gf_hl86-ux4 into the interview, she raises the point that US House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes (R-CA) still holds control over House Intel Subpoenas, despite his supposed recusal! This must change, as Nunes appears tight with the Trump administration and appears to have wanted to scuttle the investigation into Russia ties to Trump. Controlling subpoenas allows him to continue to interfere.

US Congressman Adam Schiff statement on Facebook, Sunday 28 May 2017:
The allegations raised about Jared Kushner, which I cannot confirm or deny, are serious and our committee will be interested in hearing from him at the appropriate time. To seek to establish a secret back channel with the Kremlin out of their own diplomatic facilities, if true, would raise a host of troubling questions. This is particularly the case given the context, in which the Russians had just helped the Trump campaign by hacking Democratic Party emails and publishing them. Moreover, if such a conversation took place and Mr. Kushner did not disclose it during his security clearance review, that raises additional concerns that will need to be addressed.
