Some of [Russian oligarch] Deripaska’s past has apparently come back to haunt him. He was reportedly barred for years from entering the United States because of alleged ties with organized crime, and while that ban was lifted in 2005, it was reimposed in 2006. Deripaska enlisted help to try to overcome these hurdles. For example, he reportedly paid $560,000 in the early 2000s to Alston & Bird, the law firm of Bob Dole, the former U.S. Senate majority leader and 1996 Republican presidential nominee, which was able to get Deripaska’s U.S. visa reinstated, at least for a time… Manafort has confirmed the AP’s report that he represented Deripaska almost a decade ago “on business and personal matters in countries where he had investments,” but says his work for Deripaska “did not involve representing Russian political interests.” (VOA, Jonas Bernstein)

Paul John Manafort Jr. (born April 1, 1949) is an American lobbyist and political consultant. He served as campaign manager for the presidential campaign of Donald Trump in 2016. He was previously an adviser to the U.S. presidential campaigns of Republicans Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush, and Bob Dole. Manafort often lobbied on behalf of controversial foreign leaders such as Ukrainian president Viktor Yanukovych, dictators Ferdinand Marcos and Mobutu Sese Seko, and guerrilla leader Jonas Savimbi. He was a senior partner in the firm Davis, Manafort, and Freedman.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Manafort. When they co-owned a consulting firm, Roger Stone to protect Trump Casinos from American Indian casino competition, using devious means: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roger_Stone https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2016-11-28/paul-manafort-is-back

Long close to Trump, Manafort, Stone and Cohn appear to be maestro Puppet Masters: https://miningawareness.wordpress.com/2017/03/09/the-evil-trio-from-mccarthy-to-trump-via-watergate-reagan-bush-cohn-stone-manafort But, who or what is behind them?

According to “The Selling of Jonas Savimbi: Success and a $600,000 Tab” By Patrick E. Tyler and David B. Ottaway February 9, 1986: Black, Manafort, Stone & Kelly “orchestrated — under a $600,000-a-year contract signed last summer — a high-profile, high-impact visit to Washington“, for Apartheid South Africa backed Savimbi. “Senate Majority Leader Dole, according to several sources, took the lead in orchestrating the required political support in Congress. To that end, Dole’s staff rewrote — in close consultation with Savimbi’s public relations advisers — a Senate resolution first introduced last December. The new draft stated: “. . . the president should provide timely assistance critical to UNITA.https://www.washingtonpost.com/archive/politics/1986/02/09/the-selling-of-jonas-savimbi-success-and-a-600000-tab. http://dolearchivecollections.ku.edu/collections/press_releases/860203rem.pdf

Remember that Bob Dole is from Kansas. And, who else is from Kansas? The Koch brothers.

And, how did the Koch Brothers get started? Their father, Fred Koch, made his money teaching Stalin how to refine petroleum. Then he went over and built refineries for the Nazis, well before US involvement in WWII.

Unfortunately, this opens up more questions than it answers. Was Koch father really anti-Stalin, or did he use anti-communism as a cover in order to continue business in Russia? Recall that Stalin and the Nazis signed an anti-aggression pact in 1939: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Molotov–Ribbentrop_Pact

Looming questions remain unanswered. Are these Russian operatives going back 100 years? Or is Putin a creation of theirs? Or do all simply have oil and greed as the common interest? Then there is also the apparent, direct or indirect, involvement of Russian and Italian mafia. What is it? How far back does it go? How directly involved?

David Koch was vice-chairman of Dole’s 1996 campaign. Roger Stone, who was Manafort’s partner at Black, Manafort, Stone, and Kelly from 1980 to 1996, worked on the Dole campaign, though he left due to an article suggesting his lack of social conservatism. BMSK (Black, Manafort, Stone and Kelly) merged into another firm in 1996. It is unclear when Roger Stone left the firm.

The Koch Brothers have raised or donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to Dole through the years. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/1996-03-31/bob-doles-oil-patch-pals

In 1981 Paul J. Manafort was appointed by President Reagan to the Board of Directors of the Overseas Private Investment Corporation. http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php/Black,_Manafort,_Stone_and_Kelly

Representatives Devin Nunes and Trey Gowdy who appear to want to undermine the Trump-Russia investigation by the House Intelligence Committee are recipients of Koch money. From 2006 to 2010 Devin Nunes got $45,000 from Koch related PACs: http://www.greenpeace.org/usa/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/Koch-Ind-Still-Fueling-Climate-Denial.pdf. Trey Gowdy got $8000 from Koch PAC(s) for the last election alone: http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php/Koch_candidates,_2016#California

As discussed earlier this month, Roy Cohn, who was Trump’s mentor and lawyer, was also a mafia lawyer, and acted as chief prosecutor for McCarthy’s witch-hunt in the 1950s. Cohn introduced Stone to Trump decades ago. And, one of the two apparently introduced Paul Manafort to Trump. As also pointed out, dirty tricksters, like Roger Stone (and Trump), often accuse others of being what they themselves are. Roy Cohn had Joe McCarthy go after people by accusing them of homosexuality, whether true or false, while he himself was a closet homosexual who died of AIDs. Better known are his attacks on alleged communists. Since Cohn was a closet homosexual who accused others of being homosexual, when it was widely frowned upon and even illegal, this raises the question of if he himself was a Russian communist agent, accusing others of being what he himself was? This is the big question. https://miningawareness.wordpress.com/2017/03/09/the-evil-trio-from-mccarthy-to-trump-via-watergate-reagan-bush-cohn-stone-manafort/

Like Fred Koch, Roy Cohn was a member of the John Birch Society. He also helped found Young Americans for Freedom (YAF) . He is said to have been a lead intelligence man for the John Birch Society, along with members of the La Rouche organization. This later became known as the Council for Inter-American Security (CIS), known for spying on the peace group Committee in Solidarity for the People of El Salvador (CISPES), according to Alexander Reid Ross. Cohn then became member of the advisory board of the the Western Goals Foundation, which worked openly “with Nazis like Hitler’s unreconstructed spy chief, Reinhard Gehlen, who had been rescued from war crimes trials by the CIA’s first chief, Allen Dulles, in order to help coordinate clandestine anti-communist resistance. (For this and much more read: “Trumpism, Pt. 2: The Making of an American Fascist” by Alexander Reid Ross https://itsgoingdown.org/trumpism-pt-2-american-fascist/

Reinhard Gehlen (3 April 1902 – 8 June 1979) was a Nazi German general who was chief of the Foreign Armies East (FHO) military-intelligence unit, during World War II (1939–45); spymaster of the anti–Communist Gehlen Organization for the U.S.(1946–56); and the first president (1956–68) of the Federal Intelligence Service(Bundesnachrichtendienst, BND) of West Germany, during the Cold War(1945–91).” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reinhard_Gehlen

By the mid-1980s, Western Goals had become embroiled in the Iran-Contra scandal due to the workings of the CIS, among others, which Cohn had been a part of since the 1950s… A UK copy-cat organization called Western Goals Institute formed in the late-1980s” which threw its support behind the National Front/ Marine Le Pen’s father, according to Alexander Reid Ross. He adds that “One of the top funders for Western Goals Foundation was the Bircher son-of-an-oil-magnate Nelson Bunker Hunt, who also helped bankroll the Council for National Policy, tied to the leadership of US Nazi Willis Carto’s old Nazi comrade, Roger Pearson (a former member of the editorial board for the Heritage Foundation,…)” / “While up to his eyeballs in fascism, Cohn attempted to keep his conservative slate clean by fighting legal rights to gay people, although he was gay, himself, and later died of AIDS. Underneath the alleged mob links, drugs, and corruption there remained strong bonds between Trump’s mentor to the fascist-fused Americanism of the War years, brought through McCarthyism by the leadership of NAM into the John Birch Society, and further into the Western Goals Foundation.” (“Trumpism, Pt. 2: The Making of an American Fascist” by Alexander Reid Ross. https://itsgoingdown.org/trumpism-pt-2-american-fascist/ )

Who was Roy Cohn’s mentor? Son of a Russian emigrant rabbi, George Sokolsky, born in Utica, N.Y. Sokolsky was a journalist who went to Russia 100 years ago and wrote about the Russian Revolutions. He claims to have become disillusioned with the Bolsheviks. However, Cohn and his proteges (e.g. Stone and Trump) often claimed to be the opposite of what they were. So, was he really disillusioned? Or did he become a spy? Then Sokolsky went to China as a journalist and seemed to think highly of brutal Nationalist leader Chiang Kai-shek who ended up as leader of Taiwan. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Sokolsky. Bob Dole worked as a foreign agent for Taiwan, recently. Formosa Plastics group has been in Taiwan since the period of Chiang Kai-shek and has oil wells, PVC and chemical manufacturing facilities in the US.

In February 1917, Sokolsky was attracted by the February Revolution and went to Russia to write for Russian Daily News, an English-language newspaper. After the overthrow of the Kerensky government by the Bolsheviks, he became disillusioned with the revolution… He fled to China, …to continue his work as a special correspondent for English-language newspapers such as St. Louis Post-Dispatch and London Daily Express. and acted as an informant and propagandist for sundry conflicting Asian and Western clients, including Cen Chunxuan… Sokolsky became political adviser and friend to Sun Yat-sen, and wrote for his English-language Shanghai Gazette. He also befriended colorful characters that ranged from “Two-Gun” Cohen to Soong Mei-ling, and identified Chiang Kai-shek as “the only revolutionist in China who could make the revolution stick.” (See Daniel S. Levy, Two-Gun Cohen: A Biography, St. Martin’s Press, 2002, pp. 117ff.)… It was in China that Sokolsky inaugurated his lifelong association with the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM)… he argued against Secretary of Labor Frances Perkins’ defense of the Social Security Act, calling the 10% of the taxes that the Federal Government kept, while remitting 90% back to the states that were compelled to conform to a standard of minimum requirements for administering Social Security set by the Federal Government, “a service charge for coercion”… The Senate’s La Follette Committee on Civil Liberties reported in 1938 that for his speaking engagements and other work he was paid nearly $40,000, through publicity firm Hill & Knowlton, by the NAM and the Iron and Steel Institute…
Sokolsky became a vocal supporter of Senator Joseph McCarthy, an intimate of J. Edgar Hoover, and a close friend of Roy Cohn, who eventually dedicated to him McCarthy, his sympathetic study of his former employer…He wanted either Robert A. Taft or Douglas MacArthur to get the Presidential nomination in 1952, and frequently criticized the Eisenhower Administration
.” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Sokolsky Although Sokolsky claims to have been anti-communist, who knows? Has anyone checked Soviet archives? And, if this is an ongoing situation, wouldn’t post-Soviet Russia have destroyed the record? MacArthur let many WWII War Criminals off the hook in Japan, probably including the grandfather of Abe, which probably speaks volumes about what we are dealing with: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Douglas_MacArthur

In 1951, the U.S. Supreme Court upheld the convictions of contempt of the United States Congress against the Hollywood Ten, who had argued unsuccessfully that their First Amendment protections prohibited Congress from asking about their political activities. Thereupon, American Legion presented the movie studios with a list of some 300 people, meant as a de facto blacklist. Those listed were given an opportunity to exonerate themselves by answering the charges against them in a letter. If the blacklisted artists refused to write a letter, they were fired. The studios submitted the letters from those who cooperated to the American Legion. The American Legion passed judgment on the acceptability of excuses, referring problematic cases to Sokolsky. As its “clearance man”, Sokolsky worked pro bono on rendering a final decision on clearing the letter writer from the blacklist, either on his own or in consultation with Hollywood union leader Roy Brewer and/or actor Ward Bond, respectively the first and the second presidents of the Motion Picture Alliance for the Preservation of American Ideals… In February 1962, Sokolsky startled his readers by asserting that “if Khrushchev falls, we shall have immediate war.”…https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Sokolsky

Speaking of Roger Stone, Alexander Reid Ross says that “After Watergate, Stone linked up with notorious lobbyists Charlie Black and Terry Dolan—another publicly anti-gay but closeted gay man who died of AIDS—to found the National Conservative Political Action Committee (NCPAC) as a revision of the old Barry Goldwater campaign. Both Black and Dolan were former YAFers of the fascist songbook era… Stone also formed a heavyweight power-broker consulting firm with Black, Paul Manafort, and Lee Atwater (later BMSK), which started out on the Reagan campaign and Donald Trump’s casino business,… However, Stone came into his own by fixing votes. His methods were honed in New Jersey during the 1980s, where he employed a “National Ballot Security Task Force” to patrol majority-black and latino precincts while wearing what the local NAACP president described as “Gestapo armbands.” (Read: “Trumpism, Pt. 2: The Making of an American Fascist” by Alexander Reid Ross. https://itsgoingdown.org/trumpism-pt-2-american-fascist/ )
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ballot_Security_Task_Force While Manafort and Stone did represent Trump, we haven’t found evidence for or against the last claim, but it appears in line with Roger Stone’s dirty tricks.

And, we are left with the question of if Putin is a creation of Puppet Masters? Or are Russia and Putin long-standing Puppet Masters?

We suspect a Russia-Bush-Walker-Harriman tie, as well.

Worth thinking about in the context: Pro and anti-slavery adherents fought it out in Kansas during the run-up to the US Civil War. Those opposed to slavery were not necessarily abolitionists: “like the Civil War, the question of who was “right” and who was “wrong” is not so easy. Yes, the South wanted to extend slavery to the West but the opposing side was not purely motivated by abolitionist thought. Some of those who wanted to keep Kansas free of slavery were motivated by the desire to keep the new territories as white as possible.Civil War Prelude: “Bleeding Kansas” By gravlax  2011/06/29

About Nationalist Chiang Kai-shek and Formosa Group:
Chiang Kai-shek was socially conservative, promoting traditional Chinese culture in the New Life Movement, and rejecting both western democracy and Sun’s nationalist democratic socialism in favour of an authoritarian government. Unable to maintain Sun’s good relations with the Communists, he purged them in a massacre at Shanghai and repression of uprisings at Guangzhouand elsewhere…
The Chinese Civil War resumed, with the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) defeating the Nationalists and declaring the People’s Republic of China in 1949. Chiang’s government and army retreated to Taiwan, where Chiang imposed martial law and persecuted people critical of his rule in a period known as the “White Terror

FPG’s overseas expansion has focused primarily on the United States and mainland China. The group has purchased or constructed many PVC factories and chemical production facilities in both countries. American holdings also include Texasproperties containing over 200 oil wells and lands rich in natural gas, pipeline and production firms, and an ethylene plant in Point Comfort, Texas that was constructed in 1988. Chinese expansion has included a power plant in Zhuangzhou, Fujian Province and at least 40 FPG-built factories across the country./FPG’s non-manufacturing operations include the Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, named after the late father of the FPG chairman, Wang Chang-gung. Since its founding in 1976, the non-profit hospital has expanded to 5 cities in Taiwan. In 1984, the Linkou branch undertook the first liver transplant operation in Asia.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Formosa_Plastics_Group
