From DailyKos:
Feinstein about Trump: “I think he is going to get himself out” By mimi9, 2017/03/17

Senator Dianne Feinstein was in Los Angeles today for a fundraiser.   She stopped and spoke to some protestors. One of them asked, “How are we going to get Trump out?”  Feinstein replied, “I think he is going to get himself out.”

What could that mean?  Are they going to present Trump with evidence and press him to resign?

Here is the video. She makes the statement around 1:58.

A few comments on the above DailyKos post, including video continuation:

The 5th twitter explains a lot more and should be included in the body of the diary since it clarifies that she is concerned about the emoluments clause and feels that this is WHY he will be “gotten out” —

She says “Those government expenses should not be allowed. We are working on a bill that would do that now. We are working on a couple of bills that would deal with conflict of interest, but it’s difficult because it’s a field that relates to some extent to the emoluments clause… and there’s no preceding legislation to do that. But we’ve got good people looking at it, and we’re going to some of the ethicists along the line.”

She’s then asked if we are facing the biggest threat to our Democracy right now. Is this the most important year.

DiFi says it is the most troubling and that she has been doing what she does for a long time.

”I’ve never seen anything like this. I’ve never seen a president that can make a comment that is dead wrong, and it’s dead wrong, and he hangs onto that comment. I’ve never seen a president saying about his opponent ‘Lock her up, lock her up.’ That was a beginning for me that we were dealing with a totally different phenomenon here, and we have to be smart and watch and take our notes and make our bills, and we will see…”

She is asked if Trump has committed impeachable offenses, to which she says, ”Uh, I can’t answer that right now.”

Then she is asked about some other issues that don’t strike me as related.”

“Yeah but I take the grim expressions on their faces to reflect that they see a situation that cannot stand but can’t soon be fixed.

That was LBJ’s situation with Nixon’s original campaign treason working with the 2 Vietnams.

We had to go through that whole trauma because Johnson feared the consequences of disclosure.

I presume it wasn’t voter unrest as much as revealing intel assets and methods during the peak of the Cold War. Of course there had been the summer of 68. So they DiFI and Grassley could be seeing a very long and delicate process of getting a rhinoceros to dance out the door.© Kos Media, LLC, Site content may be used for any purpose without explicit permission unless otherwise specified. “Kos” and “Daily Kos” are registered trademarks of Kos Media, LLC.http://www.dailykos.com/stories/2017/3/17/1644704/-Feinstein-about-Trump-I-think-he-is-going-to-get-himself-out (Emphasis our own).

Roger Stone, long-time friend of Trump, who he met through McCarthy lawyer and Trump lawyer Roy Cohn, was involved as a dirty trickster in both Nixon campaigns, it seems: https://miningawareness.wordpress.com/2017/03/09/the-evil-trio-from-mccarthy-to-trump-via-watergate-reagan-bush-cohn-stone-manafort. If it looks like Watergate, it’s because it was created by the same people, at least in part. Stone was also involved in electing Reagan and choosing his cabinet. He was reportedly involved in electing Bush, including organizing people to protest during the Florida recount in the 2000 election.
