At $200,000, the Mar-a-Lago membership fee is financially out of reach for all but the wealthiest Americans and international elites,… These aren’t the hardworking Americans you’ve long said have been ‘forgotten’ and need to be heard once again in Washington. Mar-a-Lago members are the same class of ultra-rich that you’ve nominated to your Cabinet and surrounded yourself with at the White House. Your Winter White House will provide an audience with you for those who can afford it, not to mention an increasing cash-flow into your family-run organization. ” (Office of US Sen. Whitehouse, Feb. 3, 2017)

Reportedly the Trump administration calls Mar-a-Lago club the “Winter White House”. The name and the excesses of Trump’s New York Swamp administration and ties to Russia bring to mind Russia’s Winter Palace. Both Trump and his beloved Putin are out of step with history, and have forgotten past history. They are Tsar wannabes but We are not serfs. The Trump family missed the American revolution, and Trump’s mother was born the subject of King George V of Great Britain, who was the first cousin to the last Tsar Nicholas II. Things didn’t end well for the last Tsar. Trump and Putin need to read the history which they apparently slept through.

After the Trumps’ Mar-a-Lago doubled membership fees on the eve of Trump’s first visit there, as President, Senators Whitehouse and Udall wrote to Trump asking who is paying $200,000 for membership-“buying access.”

SENATORS TO TRUMP: SHOW US WHO IS BUYING ACCESS TO THE ‘WINTER WHITE HOUSE’
After the Trumps doubled club dues, Senators Whitehouse and Udall write to Trump asking who is ponying up $200,000 for Mar-a-Lago membership

Washington, DC – The Trump Organization’s Mar-a-Lago club has doubled its membership fees on the eve of the President Trump’s first visit to what the administration calls the nation’s “Winter White House.”  Senators Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) and Tom Udall (D-NM) want to know who is paying the hundreds of thousands of dollars necessary for unlimited access to the newly christened executive mansion in Palm Beach.  They sent a letter to President Trump today to ask.

“At $200,000, the Mar-a-Lago membership fee is financially out of reach for all but the wealthiest Americans and international elites,” write Whitehouse and Udall.

“These aren’t the hardworking Americans you’ve long said have been ‘forgotten’ and need to be heard once again in Washington.  Mar-a-Lago members are the same class of ultra-rich that you’ve nominated to your Cabinet and surrounded yourself with at the White House.  Your Winter White House will provide an audience with you for those who can afford it, not to mention an increasing cash-flow into your family-run organization.  Instead of draining the swamp, it appears you’re bringing Washington right to the swamps at Mar-a-Lago.”

President Donald Trump’s visit to Mar-a-Lago this weekend will cost the taxpayers about $3 million, according to reports out today, but the bigger questions are who is getting private access to the President and do Americans have the right to know.”

Tsar Nicholas II of Russia and his first cousin the UK’s King George V
Trump’s mother was born a subject of the UK’s King George V. In a logical world Trump would be a British subject, as his mother was born a British subject.

At George’s wedding in 1893, The Times claimed that the crowd may have confused Nicholas with George, because their beards and dress made them look alike superficially (The Times (London), Friday, 7 July 1893, p. 5). Their facial features were only different up close.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_V

At the time that the Winter Palace was built, the Russian empire had taken over 1/6th (16%) of the earth’s land area. Now it has approximately 11%, which is probably why Putin wants more. The Winter Palace was almost certainly built by serfs:

Things didn’t work out well for the last Tsar and they often don’t when the excesses of the powerful are seen by the starving people. Stand up the damned of the earth and all of that: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Internationale Trump apparently missed the movie “Reds” and even Putin must have been sleeping through Russian history.
