There is such a thing as too late. We are standing on the threshold of too late. https://miningawareness.wordpress.com/2015/01/19/standing-at-the-threshold-70-years-of-nuclear-is-enough/ Just As Above Ground Nuclear Testing was Stopped, So Too Must Leaking of Radionuclides from the Nuclear Fuel Chain Be Stopped. Even from a statistical point of view they keep discovering that nuclear is more deadly than initially thought. For those who missed it:
https://miningawareness.wordpress.com/2015/12/19/another-look-at-the-recent-low-dose-radiation-exposure-study-inworks/ Shows that risk is around 15 times worse than BEIR VII thought, and maybe higher.

Please note that Japan Radioactive Rubble was corrected – it had accidentally quoted Copeland gov in the UK as saying that waste was “safely” disposed of in Lillyhall Landfill. This is impossible given that it’s radioactive waste dumped into a wet environment and apparently not contained. But, even if it were contained it’s impossible because of accelerated corrosion in a wet environment. Additionally there was an accidental dumping of even higher level rad waste. WordPress is currently not always saving corrections for it had been corrected. This has been for around one week and happened in the past too. There are also errors that get overlooked. But, when one recalls correcting and sometimes many times there is a problem. And, Copeland gov did indeed claim that that the rad waste was “safely” disposed of but we prefer not to repeat such lies.

Will this make things more or less safe? Regardless, it appears to strip away Obama’s excuses for making the US into a nuclear dumping ground. Is this why he told the Swiss to hurry up with their dumping of nuclear waste upon America, saying the deadline was 2016? Or simply because he knew he was leaving office?

Dietrich Bonhoeffer (German: [ˈdiːtʁɪç ˈboːnhœfɐ]; 4 February 1906 – 9 April 1945) was a German Lutheran pastor, theologian, anti-Nazi dissident,… Apart from his theological writings, Bonhoeffer was known for his staunch resistance to the Nazi dictatorship, … He was arrested in April 1943 by the Gestapo and imprisoned at Tegel prison for one and a half years. Later he was transferred to a Nazi concentration camp. After being associated with the plot to assassinate Adolf Hitler, he was quickly tried, along with other accused plotters, including former members of the Abwehr (the German Military Intelligence Office), and then executed by hanging on 9 April 1945 as the Nazi regime was collapsing… In the face of Nazi atrocities, the full scale of which Bonhoeffer learned through the Abwehr, he concluded that “the ultimate question for a responsible man to ask is not how he is to extricate himself heroically from the affair, but how the coming generation shall continue to live.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dietrich_Bonhoeffer

Siting Nukes in a Poor Black Town — If A Black President Does It, Is It Still Environmental Racism?, 07/04/2010 05:12 am ET | Updated May 25, 2011
“The last question is whether putting inherently dangerous nukes into mostly black Burke County, GA amounts to environmental racism. I asked Clark Atlanta University’s Dr. Robert Bullard, director of the Environmental Justice Resource Center and the man who first coined the term “environmental racism” to characterize the frequent placement of toxic and dangerous industrial facilities into minority communities. This is what he told us: The siting of risky nuclear power plants in Shell Bluff community in Burke County is consistent with the environmental racism pattern I documented in Dumping in Dixie some two decades ago…

People in rural areas within the EU and without had better be on the watch-out. The European nuclear utilities-countries don’t have enough money to dismantle old nuclear power stations or manage waste, so they may try to do it on the cheap by dumping and/or burying it. The smaller amounts which have been shipped from various countries and the larger amount (200 tonnes) proposed to be sent from Germany to be dumped and buried in America may be test cases to see how many notice-oppose. Some nuclear waste ends up in landfills, sometimes legally, sometimes illegally.

Please vote for Bernie Sanders, if you are registered Democrat or have open primaries. He is the only major candidate with both a track record of calling for nuclear safety and who promises to put a moratorium on nuclear power. Anything he does wrong can be changed later. Nuclear accidents are forever. They cannot be changed. If you are registered Republican, the only anti-nuclear candidate seems to be Stephen Comley: http://www.stephencomleysr.com/about/ He has refused to remain silent about the crimes of the USNRC-nuclear industry for decades. Please educate people about him and his Presidential Campaign. Perhaps he can be the VP for Sanders and put in charge of shutting down nuclear as safely as possible. They are both really independents.
