(GDF is Geological Disposal Facility for nuclear waste)
The right answers are B. Downing Street and also Bank Vaults of the City of London and under the UK parliament. The proper thing to do is for the government to empty the vaults under the City of London of their gold (and silver) and use the gold to pay for Sellafield cleanup and do research about better nuclear waste disposal. Then, they can use the vaults to store the nuclear waste. Under the UK parliament and under Downing Street are additional locations where there would be plenty of people to monitor the stuff. And, it must be monitored! There are probably old bomb shelters under there too which might be used for storage. The UK gov’s proposal for new nuclear build makes it more enraging still. The poor rural areas being targeted are not the ones using much of the energy either. This part of England produces the most alternative energy.
